Hey guys,

I have held off buying an ATV/UTV until I finally couldn't stand it, the price of $1700 for a great running, fairly clean 1997 Mule got me into the game. I couldn't pass that up, went on Amazon and found a 72" steel plow and 4000 lb winch and now have a snow plower for under $2100. I will need to fab the mount for the plow but thats not a big issue, I am retired and have nothing but time so its a fun project.

I am loving having the workhorse with the 4x4 and tilt box and low range...it's everything in a work/toy that a guy could ask for.

Congrats on the new mule, sounds like a good deal. It's the reputation of these older models, that these newer ones rest on. They're solid, like they should be. Not like the over engineered stuff of today.

We're very interested in your build, please share pictures as you go. Welcome, and best of luck!

Yes please share as I am looking now for my 2000 2510 to purchase and mount a plow and winch set up. I am having a hard time with which to purchase and how to mount.

I bought this SxS brand new.  A couple of years after I bought it, I became disabled.  Thus it has only 47 miles and around 16 hours of use.  I have no need to keep the SxS.  I am in Foley, Alabama.  It is very hard for me to get in out of the Challenger.  I would like to sell the set, 2019 Challenger 400, trailer and uninstalled winch (this was bought brand new as well, someone was supposed to help this newbie install and we never got around to doing this). I want  $6500 for the whole set OBO (Serious offers only).

Anyone decent with electrical work that knows a good tutorial on how to make my running lights switch off all together but also turn back on when I need too? I'd assume that my lights are hard wired to the battery or the fuse panel.
Vehicle is a Kawasaki Krx 1000
I'm looking to ad IR driving lights for night vision and short of just putting black tape over the lights I feel this would be a more efficient option and it would be cooler.

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

Does anyone know of a bypass switch or controller. They make one for Polaris which installs into the harness that makes the ECU think it’s hooked up in normal position allowing vehicle to operate normally as if you are wearing seatbelt.
