I bought 100' of 5/16" AmSteel-Blue AS-78, 13,700lb. Breaking Strength, Blue, rope for my winch and found I could put twice as much of this stuff on my winch spool as I could the wire rope that was on it. Doing it just because you can is not always a good idea. Later I needed my winch, real bad, and I let out the necessary amount of rope and started pulling. Because the new rope does NOT hold it's shape like the steel rope, the inner windings compressed and created a side pressure on the ends of my spool and blew it off. Some of the rope got damaged by being forced into the break and I ended up cutting a little less than half off. It will be carried in the Trooper, just not in the winch spool. Also, you have to consider that this is the original winch and has got me out of a few jams, but it's not the best winch out there and this is what I think happened.

      Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

      I bought this SxS brand new.  A couple of years after I bought it, I became disabled.  Thus it has only 47 miles and around 16 hours of use.  I have no need to keep the SxS.  I am in Foley, Alabama.  It is very hard for me to get in out of the Challenger.  I would like to sell the set, 2019 Challenger 400, trailer and uninstalled winch (this was bought brand new as well, someone was supposed to help this newbie install and we never got around to doing this). I want  $6500 for the whole set OBO (Serious offers only).

      Utv wont start and broken fuel injection wire

      I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

      Winch fuse location on a 2021 ut400

      Does anyone know where the winch fuse is located on a 2021 ut400? I’ve been working on the solenoid because the winch will only go in one direction..
      Either in or out depending if I reverse the leads on the solenoid. Now I have no power to the solenoid and it appears I blew a fuse. Winch is supposed to have a 30 amp fuse.
       
      i checked all the fuses in the fuse box near the battery and the 30amp fuse hanging in the compartment. Everything is good there.
      but I can’t locate any other fuses. Any help would be appreciated.
