Hi guys. I recently purchased a pre-owned Massimo MSU500. It has a few small issues that I am working on, however, I have very little information on this UTV. The guy that sold it to me said it was a 2004 year model. I don't even think Massimo existed in 2004, so, I don't think that is correct. I contacted Massimo Motors customer support and provided them the VIN number and some photos of the machine, but, they said they have no record of that VIN and couldn't help me. I find it ridiculous that the manufacturer cannot help with their own machine. Does anyone know of any other way to find info for this machine. I need to know the year model in order to find the correct parts. I can attach additional photos if that will help. Thanks in advance.

Greetings all - I'm on a national hunt for a General XP 4 1000 Trailhead Edition. Just purchased a 2-seater and would like a matching 4-seater. Needs to be an in-stock/available unit as I do not have the time to order and wait. Open to potentially a slightly preowned unit too.

I'm still in the break in period and this thing is vacuuming up all the dust in the world. I had sealed up my old one pretty good but this one, wow. Looking to hear some input on where to duct-tape and seal, and what you guys use for same. I blew it out today with my compressor and I'm sure I should check the air filter already. Only 9 hours on it but I bet it's bad. I'll be adding soundproofing materials as a winter project, like I did on the old one, and that's when I'll have all the plastic under-seat panels out, so I'll be able to seal up everywhere I can.
The other question is, do I run the risk of trapping too much heat if I do too good a job? How critical is the air intake behind the driver's seat for the belt cooling duct? Should I extend the duct out somewhere? I have the dust/heat shield on it, the one that stretches behind the seats and comes up behind to deflect dust out back. It doesn't seal the under-seat areas very well, though.
Anyway. TIA.
