Fuel issue 2009 T2

Recommended Posts

I have a 2009 Trooper 2 that sat in garage in Vegas for 2 years and fuel wen bad.  I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump and drained and put new fuel with stabil.  So here is where it gets good I am getting fuel to the pump, pump is making noise like it’s working but no fuel will come out.  Anyone else have this problem?  The only thing I can think of is that I had to put the old outlet on the new pump, I cleaned and blew it out best I could. I can’t use the one from the new pump due to it being threaded.   Any good suggestions?  I checked fuse and relay, I even hot wired the pump.

You're sure the pump isn't installed backwards and is wired correctly. You have fuel in the line from the tank?  If you follow the fuel line to the fuel filter and disconnect it there do you have fuel shooting out there when the key is on? Either it pumps fuel or it doesn't...If not you may have  a bad unit.

Yes, I have fuel all the way to the pump, it has a larger inlet so it can’t be installed backwards.   There is a black and red wire that goes to positive, so it is wired correctly, I even hot wired it.  I’m going to go get new fuel lines, drain the fuel tank again and see if I switch the outlet to the one that came with the new pump to see if that’s the problem.

I can not find it on the board, so I'm afraid I'm the only cheapo on the forum.
What is the fuel economy of the Hisun HS590? (I guess it is the same as the HS550)
I count in liter per 100 km, but if you use MPG it's okay with me, but please tell if you use the US or UK MPG!

I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?

I have  2008 Cub Cadet Volunteer Tracker.  Was running fine, parked and next morning electric fuel pump inop.  Checked voltage had 4.2 volts.  Swapped relays in fuse box, checked all fuses (good) and still low voltage.   Does the ECU control the voltage to the fuel pump or which relay controls the voltage to the pump?
Have checked all wiring and not found any place it could be shorted (not saying I may have missed something). I am at a loss.  Need Help Please.

Put a new carb on the 500 to replace the leaking OE one.  Machine idles fine and mid and top end runs great.  It tends to have a hesitation right from the start - bottom end.   Thinking it may be the air/fuel screw??  I didn't do anything with the carb out of the box and is it direct replacement for my machine.  Of interest is the manual choke doesn't seem to work very good now.... wonder is it getting too much air?

      Any help appreciated!
