I have a 550 colman and i am trying to get running as it came from another military base. It came without keys battery and all fluids drained. So how can i bypass key switch and can i use a temp battery to start it. I want to make sure it runs first before i replace key parts. I added oil, brake, antifreeze still working on other fluids. not sure if i am missing any electrical partsBattery in picture is junk i think. not sure what the connector is. probably will have to buy an ignition cylinder in future. So any guidance is appreciated.

The head gasket seems to be leaking. Sprays antifreeze out of spark plug hole when cranking which I am pretty sure motor is probably toast. Is it worth fixing or where can I get a replacement motor?

Do you have any mechanical experience? The fluids were probably drained because the head gasket was blown. The engine may be fine, just needing a new head gasket. Drain it all again, oil and antifreeze and pull the head and see how it looks. Get a new gasket and put the head back on noting the torque requirements. I do recommend taking the head to a trusted machine shop and have them check the flatness of the head before re assembling. They can plane a couple thousands if necessary to flatten it.

I have 31 miles on my new T-Boss 550. In order to start I put in nentural and the emerage brake on and push down on brake paddle, then trun ket and get nothing, with key still on I shift to reverase and the back to netural and it starts.  Anyone know what is happening.
      Thanks for your help

Runs fine just putting around the yard. Get it out on the road and about a half miles it runs out of gas. Let it idle for a few minutes and it will run for another half mile and do it again. Replaced both fuel pumps and filter. Does anyone know if I can get rid of the factory fuel pump?

Hello, All!  I've decided to replace the traction batteries in my 2018 Sector E1 with a 48V Lithium set. They may be expensive, but I figure the Discovery Dry Cell are, too. I am not looking for the max driving range, as I have never received near the brochured range to begin with, but a good mix of charge/ get work done/ charge is what I am expecting.
I have settled on the 48V EAGL kit from bigbattery dot com. Each battery pack provides 30Ah. The kit ships with a charger, as well. The packs would be physically connected in parallel (using a busbar) to one another, maintaining the 48V voltage, but together would be able to provide the amp draw the buggy pulls when going up hill or towing a rake (rated 320 max continuous Amps). This is in comparison to the serial connection the eight 6V lead batteries. Each of the EAGL batteries looks to have its own BMS; am I correct in thinking I will have to use their included charger rather than (simply) changing the onboard charger to lithium mode? The chemistry of the pack is LiFe PO4, for what it's worth.  I haven't torn anything apart yet (to diagram), so  I am not sure how the dash will interpret the AMP draw, but the kit I am looking at includes a dash mounted charge indicator.
If anyone has completed a similar conversion, do you have any tips? Specifically, how did you remove the original batteries, and how did you secure the new ones? I am guessing that almost any change from the stock batteries would involve at least some modifications. Any tips would be appreciated, especially things I may have failed to consider. Thanks!
