I have a 2018 TW450 that runs fine on flat ground but dies out when under load going uphill. Changed the gas filter and spark plug with same results. Letting it set for a few minutes it will run until it hits a incline. Belt is not slipping, but the engine just dies out and doesn't even want to run in neutral. Any ideas as to what I can try is appreciated in advance. Also only run non-ethanol for fuel.

Check your fuel tank for dirt?

If it only has issues going up hill then there may be something rolling back into the intake on the bottom of the tank. Over time crud can accumulate when fueling. It clogs the tank outlet then when you let it sit it will leak just enough fuel to start again but as soon as you hit the incline it clogs it back again? Basically it just can't fill the float bowl up before it gets clogged again.

Kind of a reach here also, but the float in the carb could be way out of adjustment and only fills the bowl just enough to keep running but when you hit the hill the float shuts off sooner and then starves the motor.

update on TW4500 stopping on hills. I ended up buying the factory OEM filter for the pulsating fuel pump after I had bought a aftermarket one. Changed out to the OEM filter and problem seems to be solved.

Hi, I purchased a used Cub Cadet 750 Challenger that seemed like the belt was slipping so I put a new belt in.  It still acts like the belt is slipping but now I am thinking it is the clutch?
What is the best way to remedy this problem?
      Can the clutch be rebuilt?
      Are there aftermarket clutches available?

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!
