Hello All,

I'm not really New here but Life sidetracked me for the 18 months or so but I've gone back to doing some work on my Coleman(Hisun) UTV400 SxS that has a Kodiak 400 motor/Trans and a Major wiring problem.

Short history, with original owner there was a fire, some interior plastic damage but were told major fire damage to motor. They bought and installed the Kodiak 400 motor, CDI box and a few other necessary parts. They had someone wire it and used it then for some reason Stripped the wiring, installed a new Emark wiring harness but Never reconnected the motor wiring to the Machine. There was a mountain of loose wires, cut off connecters in the Dump Box.

I've finally gotten back to sorting and reading diagrams for both machines wiring and have the CDI box rewired in to the point I can start the motor with my Temp ignition switch, it runs ok and is charging the battery. my immediate problem with the motor right now is that it runs fine At Idle but if I try to accelerate it immediately  Dies. Im trying to figure out if it's an issue with something that the CDI box needs wired that isn't there, some switch or relay connection that's still not there Or the fact that the fuel supply being from and electric fuel pump not the original Vacuum pump that the Quad used was, I cant find the Pressure of the Vacuum pump.  Acts like there's no Spark Advance in a way but could be just getting way to much fuel, to fast. I have a valve I found that allows me to cut the pump pressure down to 1 PSI that I'm about to try and I'll keep checking the wiring diagrams looking for something electrical that might help explain this. Oh I couldn't a carb kit to rebuild with so I bought a New carb, not high end but figured it should make a difference but no such luck.

Once I get past this issue I'll go back to paying attention to getting battery power back into the new Emark Harness so I can start getting power to the rest of the machine.

Sorry all, I got a touch Wordy here. I hope to be spending more time here and Learning and if at all possible  Helping others.

Take care all and I Shall Return.

That's a good idea and I believe have a Tester,  I'll dig it out. I didn't think about that, I did put a new coil and spark plug on it but beyond getting a spark never checked for it breaking down.

Thank you Travis, I'll post how I do.

I just purchased a 2023 Honda Pioneer a couple of weeks ago and had the hard roof and a front Honda Pioneer windshield installed at the shop before taking ownership. As things are drying up here in NC, the grass and dust are beginning to fly right through the back of the cab while driving. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on rear windshields, dust panels, or mesh screens to help stop this?
      Thanks a lot!

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.

2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
Green with purple stripe - hazards?
Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.
      Thanks

I bought this SxS brand new.  A couple of years after I bought it, I became disabled.  Thus it has only 47 miles and around 16 hours of use.  I have no need to keep the SxS.  I am in Foley, Alabama.  It is very hard for me to get in out of the Challenger.  I would like to sell the set, 2019 Challenger 400, trailer and uninstalled winch (this was bought brand new as well, someone was supposed to help this newbie install and we never got around to doing this). I want  $6500 for the whole set OBO (Serious offers only).
