Did I miss something? Did Joyner go out of business? I was just flipping through the latest "Side X Side Action" issue and noticed that there is no Joyner vehicle included in the 2009 Shootout. They even have a few "kiddy toy" brands I've never heard of. What gives?

Joyner didn't want to make everyone look bad.

Not a good look for SXS mag. They have failed to kick on from last years Shootout by reducing the models, adding no name brands and spreading it over 4 months. Never mind, there's always next year and plenty of room to improve, but it does leave the door open for other magazines to do a UTV Shootout how it should be...........with independent experts doing the testing and specs and the journalists reporting the results. SXS use their journalists to test the UTVs and if you remember last year one couldn't change a manual gearbox in a Joyner and they gave 5 out of 5 for safety to the Rhino(the only utv to get this rating) only for the Rhino to be pulled off the market after 46 deaths. In this years shootout SXS has conveniently left out a safety section. Something smells and they need to gain trust if they want their mag survive. Side X Side Magazine, print facts and not what people want to read!

Cheers Mike.

I have a 2007 Joyner 1100 sand viper and  before it even get's to where the thermostat opens up the oil pressure get's so low I have to shut it down. What could fix this ? I thought about adding an oil cooler with fan, thicker oil, or removing the thermostat. Any advice?

2004 250DL DIRT DEVIL. Hey y’all, I already know this is a long shot. But I am looking for a the “prick gear” assembly that makes reverse work for my external reverse gearbox. OEM PN D250.08.103 and its assembly. I bought the kart as a basket case, but I saw that the reverse box was present so I was optimistic.  Upon starting working on the buggy I realized there was a block off plate in plate of there the normal gear would be. If my understanding is correct that means the transmission no longer has reverse gear. I figured it’s just a standard bevel gear and I could probably find a gear to make work, but I don’t want to spend the time making all the other housing parts to shim the gear perfectly. Has anyone spare parts, or figured out an aftermarket solution from McMaster? I already know it’ll be a challenge to get this box to be happy again, but figured I would ask

So I have a Bennche Bighorn 500 that I bought used a couple years ago. Was working fine until this winter when I was plowing and I think it drained the battery. And had a difficult time starting and staying running. Idle seamed really low, and would only stay running if I pushed on the throttle. So I changed the battery, and the acm valve, fuel filter and spark plug it will start up and surgery to 3k rpm but comes back down and dies, unless I give it throttle. I am getting fairly good amount of fuel from fuel pump.  It does spit at stutter right before it dies. What should I try next?

Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.
