yeah its a whole unit for charging , .. requires 240V from your electric meter . You dont just plug in an ordinary extension cord .. Chevy is recalling all their BOLT models due to fires starting in batteries while charging .. This crap is just not ready.. Just like wind and solar. We saw in Texas what happens to Turbines and Solar Farms when IT GETS COLD! People died .. We are decades away from getting off fossil fuels. On the lower right side of engine (passenger side) the 2 1/2 rubber outlet hose your talking about is cooling fan from engine. You can extend that a bit down and to back and will make a little quieter.
