  1. man as far as agressive goes, the new Outlaw @ is an extremely agressive tire and rides like a street tire on hard pack and does amazing in the mud! that is a tire worth trying!!! Josh
  2. i was gonna say the same thing!!! i know where we ride the jeeps dont stand a chance at following me! matter of fact i have gotten to be known as the jeep recovery guy! lol! by the way what kind of tires are you guys running for mud??? i was running 29.5 Outlaws but now am on 30" Black Mamba's... Josh
  3. honestly the blow off valve can be filtered but because it releasing extreme amounts of air nothing is going to be sucked in at all that and its only open for a split second... and when on the rocks, there is just next to no turbo lag what so ever.. and the boost comes in very smooth.. its not violent at all. as for gearing, thats why we are playing with the diffs the trooper has a factory 2.13 gear and i think it would do A LOT better with a 3.55 or 3.73, yes you will lose top end speed but down here its all about the mud in which case we dont see speeds over 25 mph very often.. Josh No Limitz
  4. we are waiting on some diffs from a source to try out as far as axles we are trying to adapt the axles from the buick (for strength)... trans, ecm, and harness are all GM.. Josh No Limitz
  5. we are going with 8 lbs of boost at this time, anything more than that is overkill without head porting and valve/cam work. we will be dynoing the one in the pics in the very near future. we are playing with cams and some other settings before we go to the dyno. i am trying to have all performance parts on hand so i can get dyno numbers on everything... and no it is not a stand alone ecm. it uses a fuel controller close to what you get from SB but mine is designed for boost... Josh No Limitz
  6. not much to take pics of as yet but i promise as it gets further along you will see plenty of pics! we are trying (key word TRYING...) to use the GM 3800 Supercharged V6 out of a buick Riviera... its a tight fit but it looks like we can make it work.. at this point we are still hunting some small parts though.. we are hoping to start the install in the next few weeks! Josh No Limitz
  7. We have a few intakes and Turbo kits on the shelf and ready to go! Intake $450 Turbo Kit without intake $1995.00 Turbo Kit with intake $2300.00 We will sell the Turbo manifold only on request and we are not and will not use the Cheap Chinese turbo's at all, the turbo provided in our kit is a Garrett GT-12. we have used the cheap one from ebay (which is from CX Racing) and had three of them blow up in under ten hours! and i know it seems at only $200 bucks each, just buy another one... what most people dont think about is when that turbo blows up all of the debris goes strait into the motor usually resulting in complete engine loss! These kits are COMPLETE and BOLT IN! major components: Turbo, manifold, blow off valve, fuel controller, and all hardware to install it! Josh West 713-824-8891 Email: [email protected] (goes to my cell phone) thanks !!!!
  9. thanks for all the help! i did get it figured out and YES it was an ECM issue but we have it running like a top now! Josh
  10. I thought that would be the case. No Limits in Dallas is arguing say that's the right ecm for the renegade...
  11. Sorry I don't know why it post twice but the other one has pics.. ignore this one plz Josh
  12. OK fellow Joyner people! I have a Renegade R4 in the shop right now. The man brought it to me as a "no start"... he said he went trail riding and got it stuck very bad, he left it overnight. The next morning went to get it and it wouldn't start.. he drug it home and somehow came to the conclusion it needed a new ecm... he gets a new one hooked it up and still no start... this is when I get it.. the ecm is laying in the floor and the two ground wires are not hooked up.. I ground the two wires and boom it starts up.. but only running on two cylinders. From what wire diagrams I can find the trooper has two coil drivers and the renegade has three. I have checked the coil and all the wires and all is good. I am not getting pulse from the ecm for the third coil... the old ecm cover was sitting in the floor so I compared the numbers, totally different! Called the place he ordered the ecm from and they are telling my the old number superseded to the new one I have. I checked the ecm on my trooper and the numbers match perfectly. So what I am saying is the new ecm they sent is a match for a trooper ecm... are they the same? Thanks for any help! Josh

  14. I have a trooper in the shop right now that is a job of fixing another shops screw ups... a local shop here in houston completely chopped the body control harnes up.. i have built a new harness but still lacking the 4x4 switch.. can anyone tell me what the four wires are supposed to go to? i.e. color = ground, color = 4x4, color = 4x2, constant hot??? i dont want to fry the actuator by guessing... Thanks Josh No Limitz
  15. Spin the motor over to do a compression test. but on a leak down test the piston needs to be a tdc... Josh No Limitz
  16. one when you did the compression test did you make sure the compression gauge fitting was tight on all four holes? the smallest leak can give you major different readings... second when u pressure tested number 3 was the piston at TDC? the exhaust valve may have been open... on a compression test all cylinders should be within 10% of each other Josh No Limitz
  17. Well now i could use a lil help... i have a trooper in my shop now that has wiring issues... this poor guy paid another shop $1000 to re wire the body control harness, and boy oh boy did they chop it up!!! I am Buillding a new harness from scratch... what i need is a diagram that tells me what each fuse and relay control on the Engine fuse/relay block.. any help is greatly appreciated!! Josh No Limitz
  18. hey guys i know this is a lil off topic but i have a 10" Gorilla lift for a Polaris RZR i need to get rid of.. The lift is a complete take off in very good condition. This is a BIG lift!! last time i checked this lift sold for $4500.00 i am trying to get around a thousand for it... $1000.00 OBO! so if you guys know anyone please pass on the info, anyone who helps move it i will give a 20% discount on their next order from me!! Thanks Josh No Limitz Custom ATV & Fab 713-824-8891
  19. there are ways to test all of that and pin point exactly where you are losing pressure from. dont just tare the motor down and re ring it. that could be a costly mistake! i had low compression on one cylinder and it ended up being a bad valve... Josh No Limitz
  20. How is that intake working for ya so far???
  21. the controller i got from dedub i kept for myself although i have a Trooper in the shop now for a turbo and intake kit and 3 more to follow so i am gonna need to order 4 more from you soon.... Josh No Limitz
  22. Personally i run mechanical gauges and have absolutely no problems...
  23. check with the state laws. when you double tag trailers the first trailer is supposed to be a 5th wheel or goose neck... when we came and picked the two we bought from you we were not legal...
