  1. If you all want, we can have a adventure / jamboree at my place. We can leave directly from the house, electric & water for at least 5 rigs, lots of room for tent or sleep in your pickup. We have enough great trails for 3 days of riding. Will heat the spa to soak the bumps & hurts out. Best time is Mid-Oct just after monsoon, not dust or mud, and everything is green. Temps are great and bugs are starting to calm down. Desert to High mountain trails.

Put it on the list for someday, just need to know in advance. 45 minutes south of Tucson on hwy 19.

    rocmoc n AZ/Baja

rocmoc I just mapquest it from my house to Tucson Total Travel Estimate: 25 hours 52 minutes / 1752.74 miles Fuel Cost: $463.95 at 10 MPG. I think I wiil have to pass but mybe oneday.

  2. I'll be taking this little experiment the first of next week to see how they work, to see how they stand up to the wind and what rock and mud do to them. So far my only worry is the front part folding down as I go faster. That's where I would probably stiffen it up first. Will make a report some time next week.

I've been thinking about heat and enclosures too. My plane had an all .060 lexan door on it that was hinged overhead with velcro and framed with 1/2 Aircraft aluminum tubing, It made a pretty good seal and when you consider I had to be going at least 45 mph or fall out of the air, that a pretty good seal. The heat that I'm thinking of at present is to pull the heat off of the exhaust system.

I will have to fix the compression problem also, so if anyone comes up with performance improvements, no turbos though, please post.

    Kinarfi

Kinarfi you say performance improvement but no turbo you don't like turbo

  3. Jeff, I like it. Maybe one thing you could look at doing is trim up your old broken mud guards and instill beneath your foams ones to sure them up a bit, or ideally, a skeletal rubber frame that tapers off in strength and weight towards the outside. Maybe a wire inner for the rubber frame to say half way over. One more idea could be a wire batten sown underneath the foam to hold it out stuff. You could call it a Viagra system. Food for thought any way. It might be good enough as it is.

I agree with rocmocs idea too. This would also stop gravel & rocks entering the cab. I will be getting GCL to make up some mud stopper doors at some stage too. These open so you don't have to climb over. If anyone is interested, drop me a line. Again rocmoc, these would be no good for you with suicide door frames. Here is a link to a John Deere Gator with mud stopper doors.

    Cheers Mike.

Mike GCL has a windsheild that looks pretty nice too

  4. Looks good Kinarfi. With the foam being so flexible though, with just a little bit of mud on it won't they just droop down and potentially hit the tires?

I want to get rid of my plastic fenders as well as they've been cracked and glued a few times now and the rattle so much when I'm driving. The flares I've made are from mud flaps off a big rig. They're flexible yet sturdy enough that when caked in mud they retain their shape. Only thing is I need to find the material in longer pieces in order to completely get rid of my fenders. Still working on it.

BeeZee I bougth a roll of rubber that they used in back of a truck bed it was 8' long

  5. Well I,m done with my oil cooler here are some pic and part numbers. I bought everything from Jegs, if you don't need a fan they have kits for as low as 83.00 Derale #259-15501. First of all let me say the first thing you need to do is look at your oil filter to see if yours take a 20mmx1.5 or 3/4-16 sandwich adapter you can look in parts and pieces to see what you need. This is what I used on mine Derale 15830 oil cooler #259-15830 111.99,thermostatic sandwich adapter #555-51712 22.99 oil cooler hose #555-51720 24.99. If you used the ph4967 oil filter the o ring is to small so you have to used a ph3614 oii filter so it don't leak oil.Rocmoc all it said is it fits ford , chryler and imports it does not give engine type

  6. Lenny is right I'm using and adapter that fits on the engine then your oil filter fits on it. I will put more pic up when I get it done been working alot of hours.I wanted to used a fan because I do alot of slow trail riding and I'm thinking about a turbo

  7. I been thinking about putting an oil cooler on my Trooper were would you put it at I was thing about were the two x-bracing behind the cab up high by the top the fan is a puller so it shouldn't blow no hot air in the cab

  9. To all Members of the Joyner Forum. Joyner is Alive!!

JMC Motors has acquired the distribution rights for North, Central and South America for Joyner vehicles and parts. We are the exclusive distributor. We are opening a new parts distribution center in Chandler Az.. We have hired most of the key employees from Joyner, including Casey Strebe, Jeff Langseth, Kris Able. You can visit our web page at www.jmcmotors.us. You can order parts or speak to a technical consultant.

We plan to introduce the 2010 vehicle line up as soon as we receive the EPA certification, which is expected in July. We are committed to increasing the quality of the product and maintaining a full parts inventory as well as technical support for your vehicles. We have hired Ken Morris as the quality control and production manager in the factory. His job is to increase the quality of the vehicles that we sell. We will have some exciting new vehicles planned for 2011.

Some of the information posted by Justin is not accurate. The web site is up and running and there is no German businessman involved. My partners and I (all of us American) did put up the cash to restart the old Joyner. Please visit our web site (still under construction) or email us with any questions at [email protected]

If you have any questions, feel free to call me directly at 480.253.1419.

Silverbullet I have called you and no limits ,edge power sport and Mc coy motorsport and I still can't get what I need you have been good to me look in the post on reliable dealers and I said you are a good dealer but you can only sell me what you can get and there are a lot of dealers that can't get alot of stuff

  11. Like many other dealers, I'm extremely disappointed in the service we have recieved from the new distributers! I know they have alot on their plate, but I've waited over 4mo. to get parts..... and they still are not here. NOW they contact me and want me to purchase new units???????????????? Not sure which path I will follow, but I will still provide as much support to forum members and my customers as I can! I sure wish I had the support of the distributer behind "ME" instead of me supporting them !
