  1. I'm sure this is an old topic, but, after doing some research it looks like atv/ UTV riders having been trying to make their rides a little quieter. I've read discussion boards going back 10-15 years of those trying to make their sport ride quieter....but never see a real good answer. I've seen a few suppliers of " Silencers"....but they just lower the tone or reduce sound a few db's. Why haven't the OEM builders designed exhausts systems that are truly quiet from the factory?
  2. Vent?... On my Hisun vector 250, I get an air pressure release when I open my gas tank fill cap...is that normal?
  3. Attn: Strike 250.... The adapter sleeve that you see on the exhaust tip is for future testing for exhaust silencer. .....any luck yet?
  4. Hey all...came up with a trailer hitch design for the Sector 250. Very strong and easy to install. I know there are weigh limitations for this unit and good judgement must be used. I wanted this feature for using on the farm for pulling things like a small 4-wheel wagon, sprayer tank, down tree branches, etc...and it works great for pulling the grandson on a sled in the snow...it's a blast. My attachments include a tongue / hook combination. A a long, swivel, eye- bolt for pulling wagon ( the swivel is to keep the UTV from tipping in case the wagon does)... My property is pretty level but I like playing it safe.
  5. Hello again.... I'm looking for ideas on making the motor/ exhaust quieter if possible.
  6. Good afternoon all..... With regards to the question, is a Hisun 250 suitable for an adult?.... I purchased the Hisun Sector 250 for several reasons. I am 6ft., 200 lbs and I can get in and out very easy ( 65 yrs old) 1.) For my grandsons first side by side vehicle with a steering wheel ( he is almost 11 yrs. old) 2.) I like the bench seat, with slide thru capabilities ...no obstructions getting in or out either side. I have a small farm and like to be able to get in and out either side when working on fence lines. 3.) I liked the simple dashboard layout... Very user friendly. 4.) Powerful enough for two passengers plus supplies/ tools in the back. 5.) The most important feature is the size!.... 4 ft. x 8ft. .....takes up very little space in the barn. ........we really like it so far
  7. Also...has anyone tried making the motor/ exhaust system quieter?... Be nicer if it was quieter. I'm really enjoying my unit so far.
  8. Regarding the Vector name. I just purchased the Vector 250 new from Rural King on 12-26-2017. Surely Hisun did not send me an new/ old model.
  9. Hello.....brand new to this site. i just bought a new Hisun Sector 250 for my Grandson. I purchased the unit from Rural King in Greenville, Ohio . First question: I ordered a Sector 250,.... But received a Vector 250. They look identical, just not sure why is has a "Vector 250" label on it. Question# 2:. How do you check the oil level in the unit? The owners manual say to "remove the dipstick and check..." There is no dipstick!! There is a black plastic cap, but no dipstick. I've never heard of any machine not having a way to check the oil. Question# 3: Where is the oil filter? The picture in my owners manual does not seem to match my motor? We really like the unit. We purchased thus one because of the size...doesn't take up much space in the barn. It has plenty of power for what we want to use it for. Does this unit have oil in the transmission? The manual says to check the automatic transmission, but it does not tell how or where? thanks looking forward to some helpful ideas, suggestions etc.. John
