  7. Thanks , yes I wound up doing a similar process. There's no easy access, but the panel is reachable by putting the front end up and removing the tire. I added a voltmeter/charging port and a rear light bar switch.
  8. Doesn't really matter what battery you use since with this heater you are only running the fan from the battery. The heat comes from diesel fuel. Seems like way overkill for a UTV.
  9. Buck 450 wireless winch remote control. Opened up the winch relay control box. AS some reported for other models, there's a factory wireless receiver in there, but they won't sell you a remote for it. Easy to replace since it's on quick connects. Disconnect the factory receiver and replace. Amazon has a bunch of very similar units. I replaced it with this ($20) . took 15 minutes. Wiring is the same. This photo is the inside of the winch relay control box located in the passenger side front wheel well. Two screws hold the relay box to the frame. Remove those and just turn the box around. 6 small screws on the back, Open it up, remove the factory receiver. I clipped off the screw tabs on the new receiver just to make it easier to slide into the case. Clipped the new receiver wires and added quick connect lugs. This remote works great from up to 100 feet away. https://www.amazon.com/AUTOUTLET-Recovery-Controller-(Batteries-included)/dp/B07CPRVW6Y/ref=sr_1_1?crid=13OR05GVT51TT&keywords=AUTOUTLET+2PCS+Recovery&qid=1645882829&s=automotive&sprefix=autoutlet+2pcs+recovery%2Cautomotive%2C53&sr=1-1
  10. Multiple users have reported that the Kolpin ATV Switchblade Plow – Model #17-0000 fits and works well on Massimo T-Boss 410 and Buck 450 UTVs. This item is available for ~$350 with free shipping from Amazon, Cabela's and Bass Pro, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0745HWB3N/ref=sw_img_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
  11. This is a fabulous idea. Everyone should list all the mechanical replacement parts that you have found that are made in the US or Japan. Only mechanical parts, not accessories, fluids or lighting.
  12. I added one of these to my 2022 Massimo Buck 450. Fast charge 2 devices and instantly check battery voltage. There's also a version that just plugs in if you have a 12v outlet . https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LGH2MJD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  13. No issue here. I defer to Joe. I yield my time to the honorable gentleman from , well where-ever. And I'm out. However I do recommend that you Joe, stop bullying others and use any factual information you have to retain an attorney and press your case against the vendors that have wronged you. We customers can't help you. Take legal action or get over it. You insistent whining simply ruins this forum and I am no longer interested in participating, so you have your bully pulpit. Best of luck
  14. Joe also seems to make a lot of statements that are questionable (given nearly 500 post, mostly negative ). Such as an actual employ of an actual company making a statement that would put himself and his employer in legal jeopardy for liable and class action lawsuits. Joe should have gotten that on tape. I know a group of excellent attorneys.

  17. No Chinese vendor is a US or Japanese brand. No US company or Japanese company is allowed by the Chinese government to own a Chinese business. None of us have any insight into how the components are specified and manufactured so trying to say who is doing what with parts manufacturers or which is better or worse at any given time is pure speculation.
  18. Kubota announced the transfer of all parts manufacturing to China in 2013.
  19. Every brand including Kubota has all of their parts manufactured in China . How would you know if they are "cheap" parts or exactly the same parts Yamaha gets? You wouldn't because you have no access or insight into the process. And the way manufacturing is automated today it would cost more to retool and redesign to make "CHEAP" parts than to just make the same parts, so that is truly unlikely. Of course all of these thoughts by all of us are pure speculation since not one of us is privy to any details of the actual parts making process. No outside company can own a Chinese company due to the government being communist. SO your statement applies to every ATV, UTV and such that's sold. If you don't want Chinese, then you better build yourself a metal foundry. and forge (outside the US to avoid onerous regulations).
  20. Of course , if you have the money and you're happy spending it, then you should buy the most reliable with the most features. But if you don't have that much cash and don't want to spend it, their are other options. That's how markets and competition work And of course, like everything else, since 2013 Kubota makes all if it's parts in China.
  21. Absolutely true and you make my point, which is, all of these companies are pretty much the same and you will find good and bad service at different independent business that service any of these machines. I don't like blanket statements that one or the other is all bad or all good. That simply isn't true. Yes, Honda and Polaris, etc. have been around and gotten through most of their growing pains so they have a lead in some areas, but most parts are made in China for every brand and these machines are not indestructible and many of the established brands have priced themselves out of the market. Everyone will have differing experiences and results. Massimo is clearly making efforts to improve their customer care and I applaud that. Competition is good for the market place. Having viable competitors will force established brands to price more competitively. As we used to say, place a cast iron anvil on the demo floor and someone will make something nice with it and someone else will break it.
  22. Kubota makes decent stuff. They should. Their utv sells for $6000 to $9000 more than a Massimo.
