  1. I have a T-Boss 410. I know that when it's in neutral, it will roll on its own when the parking brake is not set. My driveway has a slight incline, so I need to set the parking brake so it won't roll. I guess I never tried to push it, so I don't know how much resistance it offers.
  2. I'm going to watch this thread. My T-Boss 410 is doing this occasionally, too. But when cold, like when pulling to the end of the driveway, stoping, and then trying to shift from low to high range.
  3. Wow. Excellent detective work. Great job. And thank you for the detailed report on your sleuthing and very fine pictures of your findings. Glad you were able to get it figured out and also glad there was no damages.
  4. I have a 2019 T-Boss 410. The 4WD switch works, but sometimes the actual physical switching from 4WD to 2WD or from 2WD to 4WD, is slow. I can drive a ways before it will switch out of 4WD and usually after I slow or stop. Have you tried backing up? Also try turning the front wheels back and forth when you stop or back up. I had a 1971 Ford Bronco that I could not shift out of 4WD until I put it in reverse and backed up 20 feet or so. For what it's worth, I find it easier to steer when the Massimo is in 4WD, and it doesn't seem to tear up the lawn as much as it does in 2WD. Sure would be nicer, if it had a rear differential.
  5. That would be my guess too, however, the material has no give. I broke it, winding the cable in. Poor design? Or just operator error? Thanks for responding.
  6. I'm still a newbie with my 2021 Massimo T-Boss 410. I see there is a parts list on the Massimo site for the T-Boss 410, and another parts list for the T-Boss 410, before 2020. What changed for this model in 2020? Just curious. I can't find anything on the web.
  7. IMG_4863.HEICHere is a picture if the broken ring. the "latch" piece is missing.
  8. I'm a newbie. While I'm testing out my new to me 2021 Massimo T-Boss 410 winch, I broke the Orange Ring that fits around the cable. I can't see much of a purpose for this ring, other than to be in the way, and to break. Is this ring really necessary? I did find it on the Massimo winch parts diagram, but I'm thinking, Meah? Am I wrong? (It's # 13 and 14 on the parts diagram, attached) Thanks.
