I am trying to take a crash corse in selecting the best UTV for my needs.   I recently bought a home bordering the  Chattahoochee National Forrest.    The primary use would be around the property and travel between neighboring homes.   All surrounding roads are gravel and there are several 4x4 trails in the area.   I initially was looking at electric models because of my limited mechanical skills and noise,  it seems only the Polaris is available and pricey.   I want to be practical…….but still be able to have fun and be the envy of my new neighbors with golf carts.  Help a city girl out?\

If you're not mechanically inclined, I would look at what dealers are nearby and do a search of their service reviews.  Stick to the main manufacturers, Polaris, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Can-Am and Honda.  Probably not going to find much in electric models no matter where you look.

This is the truth. Follow TapBoss' advice. You get what you pay for. If you cant afford a name brand as he outlined, don't buy anything and save your dinero til you can.

So.     I am choosing between 2 models right now.  A new single cab Polaris new equip as I want runs about 17K.   Or. A used Yamaha wolverine 4x   2021 192 hours /220 miles  20K.     I am leaning Wolverinebecause it looks so fun….  Can someone tell me how the Hours and miles stack up?……..  Is this as “low use” as it seems to me?

      I’m in the market for a UTV windshield that can withstand extreme conditions, including high winds, dust, and off-road impacts.
      I’ve seen a lot of options out there, but I’m unsure which one will provide the best protection and durability.
      Does anyone have experience with windshields that excel in these environments? Are there specific brands or materials you recommend?
      I’m particularly interested in options that offer both durability and clarity.
      Any tips or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

      I have been doing a little research on which engine oil is best for UTV engines.  There seems to be some disagreement over using a good quality regular engine oil, and the necessity of using "M2" (or wet clutch suitable) oil.  My understanding is the "wet clutch" suitable oil has less friction reduction properties (hence a more responsive clutch with less slippage).  While less friction reduction properties would seem to be better for the wet clutch... it would not be best for the internal engine parts like camshaft bearings and other moving parts where friction is detrimental and would lead to premature failure.  Some folks swear you need M2 oil, while others say they have been using regular motor oil for years and their clutch is just fine.  Could they both be right ???
      Any thoughts ?

      I have a Bobcat 2200 Diesel (built by Club Car) with a 2-weight Team Primary Clutch I want to rebuild, possibly replace. The clutch has an annoying rattling sound at idle and appears the rollers and weights are worn and loose. When I opened it up, everything looks clean and in great shape. It's just that all the moving rollers and weights seem to have way too much play in them, possibly causing the noise. I've searched for clearance and torque specifications with no luck at all. The UTV has less than 500 hours on it.  Any ideas?
