Flange coupling question

Leaking oil from the output shaft. I pulled the flange coupler off, and there appears to be what’s left of a plastic bushing behind the metal washer. It isn’t in the parts diagram, and am wondering if the plastic is moulded into the flange coupler to seal around the shaft? Best I can figure without buying another one to find out. Any help I’d appreciated.

What you found is the hardened sealant put on the output shaft/coupling cup.  It only looks like a manufactured part as it was "molded" to almost make it look like a 2 stroke rod bearing cage.  Clean it good as in getting all the hardened sealant "needles" and oil off.  Apply sealant sparingly to the outside of the shaft spline (you don't want a goober pushed into the engine/tranny case).  Next, give a good coating to the coupler spline inside (this will be pushed outward to the threaded end when pushed onto the output shaft).  This seals the spline/coupler interface.  Next coat the washer face surface of the coupler and add some to the cleaned washer face also.  Slide on the washer, smashing out a blob of sealant to seal the washer to the coupling and also have some seal to the nut when you buzz down the nut.  Use a quality NON-HARDENING SEALANT.

Thank you! Makes perfect sense now.

Okay folks. I have a low power issue. Been like this for a few years. Place I work at bought 3 and all have lost most of the pulling power.  They gave them away after local shop worked on one for 3 months and it had great power for about 1 month and then crap. They replaced throttle body, fuel injector, spark plug and IAC motor. Seat belt switches have wires cut and left open so no seat belt warning light anymore. It revs to 6k rpm in neutral but when put in gear and take off in low it just doesn’t seem to want to go anymore. Running 93 octane fuel with Stabil.  Any ideas greatly appreciated. I dont have a scan tool but no codes on dash. If held to floor it pops a little and runs almost 5K rpm but if I let off pedal about an inch it smoothed out and revs up to 6k rpm.

      Hi,
I'm in Australia and need to replace the footbrake pads and cable (weak point if you ask me, bad design), plus might as well get the main brakes done at the same time.
Anyone know an Aus dealer, or, know the parts number or equivalent in the petrol version?
      Cheers.

Does the transmission share the crank case oil with the engine or does it have its own oil seperate from the engine?

      Hello
I have a 2022 Massimo t-boss 550. I’m looking for a fix for my timing problem. It keeps getting out of timing. Now I’m trying to find the proper parts for the linhai motor. I’m looking for tensioner chain and gear. If there’s anything else I can do to fix this issue please let me know. Unfortunately I can’t afford to get something better so I got to get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

(posted a similar question to the Hisun folks) Looked at a lot of UTVs lately. Couple Questions about Massimo. Some people say they are just cheap with no customer service. Other people seem to have no problems with them.
      Any opinions on Massimo durability?
Heard parts might hard to get. Is that true?
      What models are the best?
If you had one and didn't like it what do you recommend?
