I would like to install an oil drain valve such as the Fram Sure Drain #SD3. Can anyone tell me what a crossover car might be? I could drain the oil and check the threads but would be without the trooper until I put oil back in it.

There is a dealer here in Tucson that sells the other valve listed in the pinned parts list but he wants $37.00 for it. For that kind of $$ I'll just have to let the oil run down my arm.

Any help will be appreciated.

I got a SD-3 Fram Sure Drain for nz$25 (us$18.53) and very happy with it too. The thread size is M12 X 1.25. I don't practically like oil running down my arm so would pay up to 35 bucks no worries but you would be getting ripped off if you got charged that much if I can buy a made in the USA product out here for half the price you pay there.

Cheers Mike.

Hi Mike,

I knew I could count on someone to come up with the answer to my question. The best thing about owning a Trooper is having friends that are always willing to help you out.

Thanks again,

I have the F-103N Valve (w/Nipple) on mine and put a vinyl tube on it and I don't get oil on me or have to remove any skid plates. LOVE It. Leave the tubing up above of the skid plate and pull in down to drain, just stick the end in an empty milk bottle and let it drain.

I just purchased a 2023 Honda Pioneer a couple of weeks ago and had the hard roof and a front Honda Pioneer windshield installed at the shop before taking ownership. As things are drying up here in NC, the grass and dust are beginning to fly right through the back of the cab while driving. I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations on rear windshields, dust panels, or mesh screens to help stop this?
      Thanks a lot!

We purchased this UTV less than 60 days ago and now I am having issues with drained battery. Used UTV for about an hour then stopped and when I went to start back up my battery was to low to start it. Jumped it and it started right up and ran fine back home. Tested charging and it’s not charging while running. Can it be anything other than the stater??? Can I look for something that I can fix Quik or does it have to go to the authorized service center to stay under warranty? It will take some time to get it in and out of service

Hi, new to forum but not new to off-roading. Am retired and looking forward to seeing some country side in my RZR XP Turbo. I recently added some 32 inch tires, not exactly monster tires and I know I have the power for most trails, but do not want to sacrifice the approximate 10% power this added wheel speed will cause. So, thinking about putting in a 12% reduction set. Just asking if anyone here on the forum has installed their own reduction gears and how long does it take? I am sure I can do it, but some things are better left to the experts. I have been a gearhead most of my life and turned wrenches for the better part of it, but actually a little tired of the busted knuckles and such. I should just let someone else make a living at it. Any thoughts from someone who has performed this?
