So where do you Southwestern UTVrs STAY/RIDE when in Moab? From what I've been able to research; you have to be pretty lucky to get a camp spot where you don't have to "TOW" your UTV on a trailer to the riding areas. With the UTV Rally on the Rocks coming up; it looks like there is going to be alot of people stranded at the campgrounds and hotels. Alot of you might be in the same circumstance that I'm in where your state does not allow "street legal" UTVs on the roads. It seems that ONLY already street legal and inspected vehicles can join in the caravan from the Old Spanish Trail Arena to the riding areas. Man that sucks! I was planning on going; but it looks impossible at this point. If I'm wrong; please correct me. I'd really like to go

Not true. If you are part of the Rally, Everybody and anybody gets to caravan to the Trailheads as long as you have a driver's license. The police escort the caravans and you do not have to be street legal. You DO have to have the Utah off-road sticker or have a sticker from a state that has an exchange program setup with Utah. Arizona does so my sticker is good in Utah just as Utah's sticker is good in AZ.

My state also has the exchange program for Utah OHV. But the main problem is getting from where you stay; to the festival place. It would be crazy to tow with a motorhome each day. I've heard you can park the SXS at the arena; but i would still have to use a 27 ft motorhome to get myself to the arena. It just seems like a bad plan altogether. I think I may go east and north for vacation this year (Unless we wait and go with you guys (The Trooper Crew) in June that is. And thats possible. But it's going to be HOT!) By the way; did you guys ever get it settled when and where?

There are a couple of parks that have trails to the Horse Arena where it all starts. You don't have to drive on the road. These parks reserve a block of spaces for people going to the rally. When you call, tell them you are with/attending the rally and if they still have a space for you. The rally use to list the parks and how far away they were. They will be the two closest parks. Don't give up yet!

      Hey everyone,
I’m in the market for a UTV windshield that can withstand extreme conditions, including high winds, dust, and off-road impacts.
I’ve seen a lot of options out there, but I’m unsure which one will provide the best protection and durability.
Does anyone have experience with windshields that excel in these environments? Are there specific brands or materials you recommend?
I’m particularly interested in options that offer both durability and clarity.
Any tips or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

If anyone is looking for the cheapest UTV, with dump bed, winch, roof and windshield, I just noticed that lowes has the axis 500/ hisun UTV on sale for 4500 (at least in my area) They are $4500. ($9000 original). I have one - they have some issues, but nothing catastrophic. My biggest complaint is that it is under powered. Also the winch failed. They are still selling an extended warranty - which I would take, just in case. My guess is lowes wants them gone.

So I'm interested in a side by side of some sort.
Not sure what make/model to even look at.

I would plan on riding on trails with very rough rocky terrain and plenty of mud. Maybe sand once in a long while. I like LOTS of power and drive fast, but also like a trail that is a challenge to get through. I think 4x4 would be a must. I like the idea of a supercharged engine, but I have never owned one, and would be a little concerned about long term reliability or expensive difficult engine repairs. If anyone knows quads, my favorite was the 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS. For dirt bikes, I raced a 2008 KTM 450 SX-F. So that gives you an idea of what type of off road stuff I liked.
I don't like "utility quads" or "trail bikes". And likewise, I dont want a turd UTV. I want something that looks awesome and performs awesome. 2 seater with some cargo capacity at the minimum.
