Planning a trip back up to Soapstone Basin this weekend, anyone interested?, I'll be staying for 2 or 3 days, but, being as it is Labor Day week end, I may not get the spot I want, so if you want to know where I'm camped, go HERE and find the "I'm Ok" post and click on it to see where I am at.

Here's where I went, had a good ride and a good time. I have .gpx files for those who ask for them. Put on 253 miles on dirt, pavement, rocky trails, mountain roads, wet roads just after a rain, and some atv trails that I barely fit on. I ate some thimble berries and some wild raspberries, (yumm) and tasted some red elderberries(usually blue), then got home and found out they are toxic unless cooked.

The place was packed Sunday and Monday and only a few left as of Tuesday and by Wednesday, there was less than a dozen people up there. On the first ride, 66fastcarss was with me until the afternoon.

edit, hwy 35 and 150 are paved, the connecting road is gravelled.

Apparently, these are Hisun or at least they use Hisun engines. I can't find much info on them online yet.  Ran across a used one with just 100 miles on it as a very reasonable price.  Just curious.
Okay, more info...they are owned by Textron Corp who also owns Bell Helicopter, Cessna & Beechcraft aircraft, Ez-Go & Cushman and Arctic Cat and a bunch of other companies.
So are thy cheap Chinese crap machines or are they good to go?

I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?
