Which UTV to Buy

Hello,

Im in the market to buy a UTV I have been looking at the polaris Razor four seater. I'm looking for something me, the wife, and our daughter can go to the desert with. I recently found the Joyner Renegade R, does any one have any reviews or informaiton on this UTV, it seemed significantly cheaper than the rest of them. Any informaiton will be appriciated, I was also looking a possibly getting a four seater buggy with a VW Motor.

Hello everyone! Been reading the forum here for a while and I hope to be joining the ranks of proud UTV owners in the very near future. I was driving by Wheeling West Virginia the other day and found myself at the massive Cabela's store there. First of all, the wall of guns was amazing. Second of all, when I walked in there was four models of UTV's sitting out front. A four seater (not what I want to buy), and 800cc Sport Model, the Coleman Outfitter UTV , 700 and 500 Model.

They looked well made and after a couple searches on my smartphone I found out they were made by Hisun in China. I then suffered from some mild sticker shock as well. Then a couple of searches later I found this online UTV wholesaler that ships the the exact same unit to your door for several thousand less but had a 7-10 day ship time. I just could not justify spending a couple extra thousand just because it was sitting in front of Cabela's. I placed my order yesterday so I will keep you updated on how my buying experience goes. I plan to use it for riding in the smoky mountain of TN on camping trips.

      Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check

      Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
      Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

      Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for a 2014 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work.

      I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

      Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

      Polaris RZR 800 Rear Differential Pinion Nut Issue

      All mid 2008 through 2014 Polaris RZR 800 series have a big problem with the rear differential pinion nut backing off, allowing the pinion gear to shoot into the rear differential, destroying the rear differential. This has happened with machines with as little as less than 100 miles on them! Reports indicate that there are no problems, nor warnings, until the rear differential grenades, locking the rear axles solid! This requires the machine to be lifted onto a trailer, to be transported for rear differential replacement, as it destroys the case. After failure, rear differential replacement can be quite expensive: labor alone can run from $800-$1200 and a new OEM Spicer rear diff, if you can find one, can run from $1700-$2500! So, if you own any Polaris RZR 800 series between the years of 2008-2014, I recommend that you do this repair before further use of your machine. personally, I have grounded my machine until it can be done. Please check the online post for your own awareness.

      I will sell the Chassis or Frame alone for $200. The chassis is in pretty good shape, needs some cage repair and 2 areas straightened where control arms mount. If anyone had an automotive frame machine it would take a few hours.

      Brake calipers, lines, pedal, master cyl, E brake assy,
      Steering shaft, wheel
      Ignition switch, key
      Light bar frame, 2 lights
      misc hardware, spindles
      2 hubs, rotors
      Engine mounts

      I am sure I am forgetting something.
      I am parting this out of ebay right now, I just picked up another project and could use the room. No I will not take less than $700 for all of it or $200 for the frame. I do not need to sell it, I will make far more parting it out but would like the extra space in the garage.
      If interested I also have an 07 1000rr engine setup I would sell with the buggy for $650.
