Hmmm. Location of the Air Temp Sensor is upper portion of air intake towards the front near distributor? Looking on diagram thought that was it but thinking it might not be the IAT. Thanks!

Got it figured out from your picture I think. IAT/MAP sensor is attached picture with 4 wires above the fuel pump on air intake. Which of the wires would be the IAT signal wire? yellow or the purple/red ?

I am new to this forum officially but I have been helped by you guys many times, thanks a lot for the help!! But I too now have the same problem as petethedog. I also need to know which of the wires on IAT/MAP sensor is the signal wire for the IAT. Looking at Kinarfis post i little bit confused and still as well dont know if its the yellow or the blue/red wire.

Good link Zeb, can't read chinese but sure helps with id'ing sensors. On the Throttle Body the 3 prong sensor appears to me to be the Throttle Position Sensor, so the 4 prong on the TB must be the Idle Air Control I am thinking.

Looking at the drawing of the AIT/Map 2976738910104282158ydJGlw_th.jpg I'm not sure what I said in an early post is correct as it disagrees with this drawing. But if you want to know for sure which is the temp wire, once you're sure of the + and - wire, measure the resistance of the other terminals and then warm the thing up and see what changes. the temp wire will have changes on it and the pressure wire shouldn't.

I have been doing a little research on which engine oil is best for UTV engines.  There seems to be some disagreement over using a good quality regular engine oil, and the necessity of using "M2" (or wet clutch suitable) oil.  My understanding is the "wet clutch" suitable oil has less friction reduction properties (hence a more responsive clutch with less slippage).  While less friction reduction properties would seem to be better for the wet clutch... it would not be best for the internal engine parts like camshaft bearings and other moving parts where friction is detrimental and would lead to premature failure.  Some folks swear you need M2 oil, while others say they have been using regular motor oil for years and their clutch is just fine.  Could they both be right ???
      Any thoughts ?

I recently bought an axis 500 and it’s missing a box or something the plug is L shaped I’ve looked through the wiring diagrams and still can’t figure it out. The plug is located right near the battery housing

      Hi,
      New to the forum.
Came here looking for some experienced UTV users who can enlighten me about which brand should I pick for my very first UTV or SXS.
      I'm between 3 brands and 3 models:
      *Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXR   1000.
      *Yamaha wolverine rmax2.
      *Can am Commander XTP.
The use I'm willing to give it is mostly to go to the range with my wife, load steel targets and all our shooting gear, we shoot a lot, rifles, Shotguns and Handguns for practice, training and competition. (Range is about 10 miles from home)
But also I want something that I can take to the trails and have fun on dirt, mud, rocks, puddles or creeks.
Any objective information will be appreciated, specially which is more reliable and durable.
Thank you and happy 4th of July.
