I started my trooper today prior to head out to the trails. Started with easy. Filled gas tank. Now won't start. Read not to over fill tank. Drained tank till half full. Now won't start.

what do I do or what possibly could have happened?

Can anyone help? I think I overfilled my gas tank. Trooper was running great. Filled gas tank. Started but ran really rough for approx 1 min. Now won't start. Drained gas to half tank. Still won't start.

have I done any damage? If so what? How do I trouble shoot?

sound like you got some bad gas, drain the tank and go get some new fuel some where other than where you got it before, flush the lines by pumping fuel into a can,, may need to pull the injector rail and clean it if you got fuel with sediment in it, the injector rail is dead ended, so if crap got in, it's stuck there, I drilled a hole in the end of mine and put a small fitting on it to allow the fuel to go back to the tank.

ps, drain the fuel into a glass bottle so you can see if it has crap in it.

if you put a hole in the far end of the fuel rail, it has to go back to the regulator to maintain proper fuel pressure in the rail. Proper set up is for the fuel pump to feed into one end of the fuel rail with a line going from the other end to the regulator. The regulator wants to be after the fuel rail. Joyner has it set up wrong from the factory.

this may not sound too technical...but have you confirmed that your fuel pump is running? second what year is your trooper?.they do have slightly different start up actions ....the older ones had a fuel pressure gauge at the left rear of the engine...that should show somewhere between 45-60 psi when the pump runs in pre start up mode (the new troopers use a different style regulator and no gauge) poor fuel..yup have run into that, but as far as setiment plugging thing up,hopefully your fuel filter would catch all/most of that...but plugged filters happen...finally when you say "wont start"..exactly what happens...you turn the key to the first position, wait for pump and fan (possibly) to run and the gauges to sweep...(you should then have fuel pressure at the gauge) when that is complete you turn to start position...cranks well but wont fire up?? try the same sequence with your foot slightly on the gas pedal...try again... I know this sounds simple, but sometimes its the simple things that keep one from starting ...just my 3 cents...Hardy

I had my carbon canister get loaded up with fuel and plugged. No air was getting into the tank, creating a vacuum. Try unscrewing your gas cap.

it's stupid, but worked for me. I chucked my carbon canister.

This happens a lot with the new Chery powered rails (Renli) that carbon canister is below the fuel level in the gas tank. Once that canister is saturated with fuel the engine wont start, it will start if you pull the vent line from the intake side but with out a filter you'll be pulling unfiltered air into the engine. Opt. 1: remove carbon canister plug all lines. (Tried this but engine would hard start and rough idle also not emissions compliant) Opt. 2: Vent intake manifold line to it's own filter and plug carbon canister (This works just keep it high and dry, still not emissions compliant.) Option 3: This a mechanic friend told me and after I was like duh, just put a longer hose from the gas tank to the carbon canister and put the high point higher than the high point in the gas tank. (This is emissions compliant) In cars and trucks the carbon canister is mounted above the fuel level in the tank and in Jeeps and SUV's it has an anti siphon valve to keep it from contaminating the canister. Also if the canister has been filled with fuel it takes a few hot days with all the lines off of it to dry it out.

Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

I just bought a new 2024 Hison 550 Stryker 2 months ago. this is the second time I have had this issue.  It only has about 20 hours on it. The last time it happened we took it back to the dealer. it was a fuse.  Since we live three-hour time driving there and back. I would like to find another solution if possible.  I have tried all the fuses that seem to have anything to do with starting.  Currently checking the battery. The battery is new. it came with the unit. It is probably 6 months old.  the UTV has all power to everything electrical. lights turn signals and radio all work.  When trying the key to start . it is 100% dead. as in it doesn't even click.  There is a low whirring like the fuel pump is turning on though. The Unit was running and driving just fine.  we shut it down for the night. The next morning my wife found it in this condition.  Thanks for any Ideas or solutions???   Otherwise, it goes back to the dealer tomorrow. Just hope I didn't buy a lemon. Great little UTV when it does run.😅  anyone else ever have this Issue..?

Looking for a output shaft for a Joyner trooper t2. Went to move the buggy after sitting all winter and it appears the out put shaft that drives the rear wheels broke off inside the transmission so looking for the shaft or a complete transmission if someone has one

2021 Hisun Axis 500 UTV (From Lowes)
      Will NOT START
MY apologies if this is to much info just wanted to give yal the most information possible for help.
I'm a so called diyer. An Electrician by trade 21yrs. I got my S×S from my last job. The contractor purchased this S×S for this specific job brand new, from Lowes. They used it for hauling materials, tools, & a little bit of anything you can think of on an Industrial type job site.
I remember getting on the SxS one time & pushed the gas petal all the way to the floor & SxS had very little power.
So anyway ,when the job finished up back mid July this year (7/2024) , I asked the contractor what they was going to do with it. I was told to take it. Otherwise it would go to the contractors yard (storage yard) & most likely rust away.
Took it home washed it , it had a heavy coat of dust on it & in it dust was every where. My helper & I had to push it on the trailer to get it home.  After washing it throughly I let it sit & dry out for a good day and half, maybe 2 days. Before trying to start it. NO START. Will turn over & try to start but thats it.
So here's what I've purchased & installed. New Air Filter, new spark plug, new air idle control valve (AICV), new throttle position sensor, new throttle body, new oxygen sensor, new digital dash speedometer/fuel gauge/clock.
Also drained the old oil & gas & replaced with new oil & 93oct. gas. I should probably mention that I've changed the AICV twice. The 1st time I changed the AICV I was able to get the SxS started & let idle for at least 10-15min. Drove out of the garage, with very little power,  turned it around & barely got it back in the garage. That was the one & only time I've been able to start the SxS. I've also cleaned the Throttle Body and & intake with TB cleaner.  So after that the AICV was  making weird noise so I pulled it out & tried cleaning it, pretty sure I messed it up. So I purchased a Throttle Body that came with new AICV & TPS. Still NO START.  I've checked the fuel pump & the fuel injector.  I took the injector off still hooked up to wiring & turned the key over, the injector sprayed a lot of gas out kinda the size of a volleyball. I've also checked the clearance gap on the intake & exhaust valve. But today 11/2/2024 I'm going recheck spark plug gap & the valve gaps. And alot of other checking. Would the driver side seat belt have anything to do with it not starting?? I know the driver side seat belt has to be in gauged for full throttle "going fast". Thing is the drv. side seat belt will latch but feels like might be messed up inside of it. Tired opening it up but to no avail.  I've never had a S×S or 4wheeler so I was really excited when I got the S×S,not so much anymore.  I work on & fix my own vehicles usually no problems.  But this SxS is kicking my ass.
So if possible & someone could help me with some ideas or tell me what Im doing wrong or did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for reading thus far.

      2015 Hisun 700 Utv
the break pedal seems to not fully throw therefore it won’t engage the switch in order to start.
it throws enough to stop the UTV but not enough to engage the switch.
I used it this morning, started fine, did some work then shut it off to talk to a neighbour and it wouldn’t start after. I can hear the injectors working but the break pedal doesn’t seem to go all the way down.
