EH65 spitting fuel from breather hose into air filter.

Just like an old car or truck PCV valve.

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventilation

Basically any gasses that blow-by the piston rings into the crank case need a place to go. So the PCV valve (one-way check valve) let the gasses out but doesn't allow any in. Usually a hose runs from PCV valve to breather and sent back into combustion chamber.

Since the gasses are in the crankcase some oil may be pulled up as well.

Or it could be something else. Just a thought. Home this helps and good luck with the repair.

I apologize to all who I left scratching their heads about my last post !!

Turns out to be fuel diluted oil coming from the breather.  I’ll be taking the carburetor off AGAIN !!!

Jim,

Have you checked oil level in engine? Does it smell like gas? If overful it could be sucked by the breather back to carb.

I was hoping you would respond.
It was definitely gas infused and slightly over full. Took the carb off and changed the float and needle valve.  Reworked the fuel solenoid.  I have it running pretty well now but was having the issue with the blow back.

Merry Christmas to you and yours !

WX is keeping me in the house for now.  One thing that was obvious from the start is the exhaust has to be reconfigured to fit the machine. Search around the local marketplaces.
I found my Predator on offer up for $100 bucks brand new.

Hi Jim,

Merry Christmas to you and yours also,

I saw somewhere you can order flange with stub out for that engine. You might weld flex hose onto stub and run it wherever you have to. If i see it again i'll post it to you. Wow, where did you see that engine for $100. Might be a scam. check close.

Is there any way that you could post close up pictures of where the springs would go and the rods on this eh65 engine

I took pictures but cant find them and I can get it to run but its not right imo

I have a 2011 or so Landmaster LM200.  I cannot get it to start.  I turn the key and nothing happens.  The brake switch seems to be working, the ignition switch works.  The Coil is new the Voltage Regulator is new and the starter relay is new.

I can connect the terminals on the starter relay and it starts right up and runs fine.  I just can't get it to start by turning the key.

I am having a bit of trouble bleeding the brakes, not much fluid comes out at the calipers when I am pumping the brakes, though that an air bubble near the brake switch might make it not sense that the brake pedal is depressed.

I am at a loss, please help!

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

Pulled fuel injector to see if I could clean it or if it's stuck open. Had a slide on clip that was really tough to get off. Don't see how the clip is supposed to lock into the plastic part that the injector slides into. Any videos or pics of injector replacement?
