Tuning a 400cc Hisun 2012 model

Recommended Posts

I recently (like yesterday) bought a secondhand  hisun  400cc 4x4 SxS. It’s a one owner 2012 model only done 125 kms. It runs rough and won’t idle  for long without cutting out., even when it’s warm.  Here’s what I’ve done to try to sort it without success: cleaned air filters, cleaned spark plug, emptied old fuel and replaced, replaced fuel filters. I notice that there is a hose coming from the carburettor (on drivers side). It goes to a T piece but  neither branch connects to anything and I can’t seem to find any places where they would naturally attach.  Any suggestions appreciated. In the end I bought a cheap Chinese carbi on eBay for $78. Now it runs  perfectly.

Hi guys! Can anyone confirm whether this is actually the 2018 model? (LINK) My friend says its not but the sales representative claims that it is. I've been burned before and I want to take all precautions before going any further with this dealer.
      Thanks and happy riding!

I have a 2015 Kawasaki mule 4010 4x4 that wont run more that 5 seconds when the engine is cold and the o2 sensor is plugged in. once I disconnect the sensor it runs and has lots of white smoke out of the exhaust. once it warms up I can plug the o2 sensor in and it will run fine. I swapped the sensor and didn't get any change.

Hi there. Has anyone run across any higher quality rear swing arm bushings for the troopers?

      Hi All,
I am trying to source a replacement starter for my 2010 Hisun 800.  The part number on the starter is MX100709 800.  Is there any other manufacturer's (Honda, Polaris, Yamaha, etc.) starter that would be a suitable replacement?
      Thanks
      Kirk

      Hi,
I'm new to the forum and live in Idaho.  It's getting colder, so I'm curious if anyone has installed a cab heater in their Hisun? I went to the dealer and they want $800 bucks and maybe more so I ordered a hot rod heater from Summit Racing. Thought I would see if anyone has experience they might share before I begin.
