2021 Hisun Axis 500 UTV (From Lowes)

Will NOT START

MY apologies if this is to much info just wanted to give yal the most information possible for help.

I'm a so called diyer. An Electrician by trade 21yrs. I got my S×S from my last job. The contractor purchased this S×S for this specific job brand new, from Lowes. They used it for hauling materials, tools, & a little bit of anything you can think of on an Industrial type job site.

I remember getting on the SxS one time & pushed the gas petal all the way to the floor & SxS had very little power.

So anyway ,when the job finished up back mid July this year (7/2024) , I asked the contractor what they was going to do with it. I was told to take it. Otherwise it would go to the contractors yard (storage yard) & most likely rust away.

Took it home washed it , it had a heavy coat of dust on it & in it dust was every where. My helper & I had to push it on the trailer to get it home.  After washing it throughly I let it sit & dry out for a good day and half, maybe 2 days. Before trying to start it. NO START. Will turn over & try to start but thats it.

So here's what I've purchased & installed. New Air Filter, new spark plug, new air idle control valve (AICV), new throttle position sensor, new throttle body, new oxygen sensor, new digital dash speedometer/fuel gauge/clock.

Also drained the old oil & gas & replaced with new oil & 93oct. gas. I should probably mention that I've changed the AICV twice. The 1st time I changed the AICV I was able to get the SxS started & let idle for at least 10-15min. Drove out of the garage, with very little power,  turned it around & barely got it back in the garage. That was the one & only time I've been able to start the SxS. I've also cleaned the Throttle Body and & intake with TB cleaner.  So after that the AICV was  making weird noise so I pulled it out & tried cleaning it, pretty sure I messed it up. So I purchased a Throttle Body that came with new AICV & TPS. Still NO START.  I've checked the fuel pump & the fuel injector.  I took the injector off still hooked up to wiring & turned the key over, the injector sprayed a lot of gas out kinda the size of a volleyball. I've also checked the clearance gap on the intake & exhaust valve. But today 11/2/2024 I'm going recheck spark plug gap & the valve gaps. And alot of other checking. Would the driver side seat belt have anything to do with it not starting?? I know the driver side seat belt has to be in gauged for full throttle "going fast". Thing is the drv. side seat belt will latch but feels like might be messed up inside of it. Tired opening it up but to no avail.  I've never had a S×S or 4wheeler so I was really excited when I got the S×S,not so much anymore.  I work on & fix my own vehicles usually no problems.  But this SxS is kicking my ass.

So if possible & someone could help me with some ideas or tell me what Im doing wrong or did wrong, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for reading thus far.

Kinda sounds like some kind of fuel starvation. Possibly clogged lines or fuel pump or maybe the injector. Try disconnecting the fuel line from the injector body and put it in a large container to catch the fuel. Crank it over and see how much fuel your getting. Of course be very careful when doing this and just a few seconds should show you if enough fuel is coming out. If that looks good I'd suspect the injector.

This post is to goes back to November  2nd 2024.  I want to 1st thank Steve G for taking his time to reply to that post & let him know that, I finally got my 2021 Hisun Axis 500 started & able to idle. ( I wasn't pushing the brake petal )

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️!

So now that I've got it started , I let it run for a little while 20-30 mins then it gets hot. Tested fan ( directly to battery ) it worked. Replaced the sensor in lower part radiator & cooling sensor,  still getting hot. Traced out wires, seems to be all good. Any suggestions??

I also put it in gear Low, High, 4×4 High, & Low , gave it some throttle and FULL throttle and was able to go a WHOLE 0.2 MPH, WTF NOW?? Checked the wheels they spin freely, in Neutral, & in gear , well they spin as well but you can tell they are in gear. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Also would like to give UTV BOARD A BIG THANKS. So THANK YOU UTV BOARD!!! I've learned a lot from the BOARD, just reading other people's UTV posts and UTV problems.

Ok. So one thing I would offer is don’t involve more than one variable at a time. Pick a problem, and go through everything involved from beginning to end one step at a time in a logical order. Such as overheating- engine runs, you made the fan run and still overheating. What’s left? Water pump, possibly air pocket in the coolant, blown head gasket. I know it tries your patience but you can do it. Did you replace the fuel filter? This thing was on a construction site and you even commented on how dirty it was. What are the chances it could have dirt in the gas tank?
Good luck.
PS Don’t throw parts at it. That is expensive, time consuming and usually ineffective.

Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check

Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

I have a 2011 or so Landmaster LM200.  I cannot get it to start.  I turn the key and nothing happens.  The brake switch seems to be working, the ignition switch works.  The Coil is new the Voltage Regulator is new and the starter relay is new.

I can connect the terminals on the starter relay and it starts right up and runs fine.  I just can't get it to start by turning the key.

I am having a bit of trouble bleeding the brakes, not much fluid comes out at the calipers when I am pumping the brakes, though that an air bubble near the brake switch might make it not sense that the brake pedal is depressed.

I am at a loss, please help!

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!
