For some reason (I don't know where), I got the impression that the yellow check engine light on my 2021 Coleman (Hisun) Outfitter 500 ALSO served as a low oil pressure indicator.  I was thumbing though the almost useless user's manual, and found nothing about any low oil pressure indicator.   It lights upon key on power up as normal.  After engine start, it remains on for about 3 to 5 seconds before going out, consistent with the engine building oil pressure.  At least that is what I am thinking.

Does anyone know for sure if this yellow check engine light also serves as a low oil pressure indicator???

Thanks.

After review of not the owner's manual but of the Hisun engine tech manual searching the text for "oil pressure" I found only one reference for testing oil pressure on this engine.

It says to loosen a bolt that is the oil passage bolt, start the engine and wait to see if oil drips out of the loose bolt.   Pretty high tech eh?😒

I wonder if this would be a place to connect a manual oil pressure line to a gauge?

I would assume that would be “a” place if not “the” place. My vector 500 does the same thing, but judging by the length of time it remains on, I sure hope it’s not taking that long to build pressure. Mine is one year old next week, just turned 70 hrs. So far, I honestly could not be more satisfied with it. It has a couple of annoying little bugs, but It hasn’t left me high and dry yet. I think come winter I’ll poke around and check valve clearances and general inspection, adjustments and change trans and dif fluids along with oil and filters before laying it up. After my initial anxiety about buying a sub par product, I am now really glad I bought it. I’ll probably buy another one but if I do I’ll get it from a dealer, not a big box, even if I have to travel a few hundred miles

Yes, I agree, I bought mine in January 2022 at a local Tractor Supply, and it has about 80 hours on it now. So far, so good. Been pretty reliable but I only use it for property maintenance so no wide open trail type abuse. Although I have some large hills here that require 4WD to navigate.  Got a KFI 60" plow for it this spring so it will take on those duties this winter.

I may try to install a manual oil pressure gauge this fall just to be sure pressure is built.   I just don't know if the ECM is fed by one of the sensors on the engine.  I guess I could get in there with a light and a mirror to see if there are any block mounted sensors that might be oil pressure related.

The only thing I could find in the tech manual is how to test for the required 9.2 lbs of oil pressure at 1,500 rpms.  All that procedure tells us is to watch for oil leaking from the loosened oil gallery bolt.  How to and where to hook up a pressure gauge is no where to be found.   The whole manual is as if written by 12 engineers with a severe language barrier between them all.

I have purchased the sending unit, low pressure gauge,T and fittings. To install the sending unit in the line on top of the oil cooler. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I blew the head gasket and just waiting on the mood to hit to fix that.

So with seat belt on  I can only get up to 20mph then it starts bucking until I get under 20 again. Diconnected the seatbelt and same thing. Reconnected seatbelt and unplugged speed sensor. Zoom..it flies. But now I have no speedometer. I have a new speedometer sensor on the way..any other ideas?

I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

"Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
Green with purple stripe - hazards?
Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.
      Thanks
