Hello all, my name is Stan. I reside in Texas near Houston. I recently purchased a demo Massimo Buck 250X just to cruise around in (first time owner of this type vehicle). Something I missed during purchase was checking the functionality of left/right flashers. Once checked, I discovered they do not work. I replaced the flasher rocker switch with the exact same factory switch. Once I did, the flashers lit up, stayed on solid, and do not flash. I then suspected it could be the relay switch. I've followed the wiring harness front to back, searched this unit up and down, and having the hardest time locating the relay switch. If anyone knows where it is, please help. Thanks.

You say it's a Demo unit so I would call the dealer who sold it to you and ask them where it is and also what's up with the issue. You don't have to trailer it back to them just ask some questions.

Mine didn't come with them so can't help you there but, in theory, it should be under the dash or the hood to keep it out of harms way. Sometimes they will be in the fuse panel also.

-Usually- you can go to the manufacturers web site and down load the manual and such.

 good luck on your mission.

Turns out the relay switch was missing. As stated, it was a demo model, so they probably removed it and gave it to another customer or whatever the reason. They dispatched both a relay and switch and I received them the same day. Plugged them in and my issue was resolved.  Hard to find something when it isn't there...OMG!

Yeah, sometimes you think you're going crazy when they do that. Makes sense tho, instead of making the person wait for parts just rob the demo and hope you don't forget to order a new one.

That was great of them sending them to you. I would still see if their website has your work manual to download, save more head aches down the road.

I have both the owner's and service manuals. There was a part number and picture of the flasher relay in the manual. Problem was it didn't depict the location and/or actual size. So, I had and idea of what I was looking for, just not where or true size. All is good now. Thanks for your replies and suggestions. Much appreciated.

Wish I would have done that years ago for some of my vehicles and toys, after looking for manuals for some of my older equipment and manufacturers no longer having the manuals I try to get them as soon as possible now when I buy stuff..

Have fun

Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check
      New Voltage Regulator...check.
Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

I have an 850. It’s been overheating. The electric fan is not kicking on. I see the temperature switch going into the radiator, but there’s no wire plugging in to it or none to be found in the area. i’m thinking I might’ve hooked on a branch and it ripped out the harness on that part. Does anybody have a picture or no where that plugs into on the harness? On the top of the firewall, I did notice some plugs that have nothing plugged into it. I was wondering if it’s a harness that goes from there down to the radiator that was pulled off

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I just purchased a Massimo MSU500 and no manual came with it so I have some questions. looking for part #'s and availability of basics like spark plug air and fuel filter. What is the valve adjustment specifications?
Is there a fuel drain? It's been sitting, low mileage but I want to drain out the old fuel and put fresh.
