Shift lever stuck on 2026 Massimo T-Boss 760L

I just received my 760L a couple of days ago and it's been difficult to shift between gears from the get go. At first I could rock the unit and it would free up for a while but now it's just stuck in reverse and rocking doesn't work. I had the UTV delivered directly from Massimo and there aren't any service centers in my area. Any ideas? Thanks

Not familiar with it but sounds like the shift cable is out of adjustment? Should be fairly easy to check it out. If you have a clutch make sure the pedal has enough free play.

Go online and Log in and double check that they registered it and see if you can download their manual or shop manual and they should have a trouble shooting on shifting issues and how to adjust the shift cables  You can also use their "contact us" on their online site and tell them the issue.

 Good luck....

Thanks for your feedback. I contacted Massimo and they provided me a link to a video showing how to adjust the shift cable. I tried it and it didn't make a difference. I think that adjustment would be more for if the problem was difficulty going into Park or Low. My issue is that the shift lever hangs up at various inconsistent spots going into and between gears. I can finagle the lever by either moving it back a fourth or up and down or rocking the vehicle.  I've read that other owners have had the same issue and it resolves after about 10 to 20 hours of operation. I have noticed mine is improving with use and hopefully it will ultimately free up with time.

Massimo technical support suggested that I remove the cover over the shift gears, remove the two fan gears and then sand the teeth with sandpaper then grease them and reinstall. The teeth had burrs and rough edges, didn't mesh at all well together and definitely needed cleaning up. It's now shifting about 90% better. Hopefully it will completely resolve over time. I'd give the fix a 7 on a difficulty scale of 1-10 mainly due to the location with limited working room.  I've attached the repair instructions from Massimo for the next unlucky soul having the same problem.

I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.
