Broken cage CV axle HS500utv 2010

Recommended Posts

Hi.

In a matter of only two month's I had two broken cages in the CV axle. First the one from the rear left axle, right now is the one on the rear right axle that is making noise, possibly cracked and will be breaking completly soon.

I can only find online complete axles from hisun.

The last one I bought it from aliexpress, from this link:

https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/1005003966116204.html?spm=a2g0o.store_pc_allProduct.8148356.11.2c3d4cc0OusFyL&pdp_npi=2%40dis!EUR!€ 76%2C84!€ 76%2C84!!!!!%400b0a556616545900491728973e44fd!12000027589649597!sh

Reference was:

  • Parts No.:47250-115-0000, 26110-055-0000

This cost me about 146€.

My question is:

Does this happen often to any of you?

Is there any way of getting only the CV joint instead of the complete axle?

Thank you!

In the market for side by side. Narrowed it down between the pioneer 1000 or defender Hd9. Looking for pros and cons of both. Any info would be helpful in my selection process. Noise, speed, reliability, ride, all of it.

Hi All.  The splines are pretty well worn where the rear driveshaft fits into the adapter (boss?) on the rear of the engine.  I have a new driveshaft / adapter / seal to install but am having difficulty loosening the nut holding the adapter onto the transmission output shaft.  I purchased a chain-type vice grip tool thinking that I could get it around the adapter to prevent it from turning but have not had any luck getting it in there yet (very tight space).  What approaches have you used that have worked?  Thanks!
