    I asked for one then i couldn't buy the turbo kit from him right now because i have to get my truck fixed first...hard to do on a student earning lol

  2. ARE YOU USING AN FMU ? or what are you using for fuel control , also do you still have the stock fuel pump ? I have considering building a turbo kit for mine .

    EJK is an FMU add on module, I'm wanting one with vacuum port and a weather sealed boost controller then ill move forward with turbo after i finish my project silverado resurrection

  3. turbo is in and running. still needs tuning in. On stock injectors with the EJK tuned all the way up its too lean on full boost. Running the 19lb inj. I'm having a hard time with it running too rich. Getting fueling and boost to kick in at the same time is proving difficult. Even at idle with EJK cut all the way back the 19lb injectors are running 10.9 on the AFR gauge. So when I start giving it throttle I have to be real slow and feather it or it goes so rich I loose power and belch black smoke. When the turbo boost kicks in its like a rocket. Also need to get a different wastegate. Stock internal actuator has a lifting press around 13~15 psi. so I'm taking it easy now until I can get an adjustable actuator and get boost pressure down.

    Still a work in progress, but at least there is progress now. Dedub, how is yours working out for you?

    I'm wondering what turbo are you using? The Wastegate on turbo is set to 13-15 psi?

    I have been looking for a weather sealed boost controller set up.

  4. I went into old snow last year also the trooper did very good in just 4wd for me but you would have to keep your rpm up to dig through hard snow, the soft snow is a cake. Deepest snow i drove into was almost up to highest part of the rocker panel on t2

    Windshield would be a big luxury item here lol i became an human popsicle in Less than 30 minutes

  5. HUGE HUGE PROPS TO JOSH @ NO LIMITZ (goindeep). In two days he made and shipped an exhaust manifold to me! Talk about putting a rush on it and helping a guy out in a bind, thanks a million.

    Now with the new manifold I was able to locate the turbo where it needed to be, run the oil lines where they need to be, and eliminate a number of other problems I was trying to contend with. The manifold mounted up with no problems, bolt holes and all. Everything is hooked up with the exception of intercooler piping. Need a couple more hours tomorrow and it should be ready to go to the exhaust shop Monday morning for a quick downpipe fab and I will be rocking.......provided nothing else goes wrong.

  6. Ok Dan if ur gonna start making and selling power steering for 400$ I'd be interested providing I don't have to do a lot of welding! Lenny if you need more travel couldn't we just as length to the tie tod arm I'm sure it wouldn't need to be much on both sides and then adjust ????

  7. When you do your U Joint conversion, please take some photos of each step and post them.

    I'll be sure to do that...I'm considering flaming river u joint to match up the mismatched spline count shafts for a kit if I can find one that would work. (Little doubt there due to selections they have) but I also want tilt and maybe mount some multifunction stalk switch on the column too..

    I also have been thinking about and debating on if I should use a extra steering column out of a s10 that I have sitting around

  8. How did you get more travel? Stock steering box or aftermarket?

    I believe stock and if I remember correctly, he loosened the jam nut at the forks on ends of rack. He loosen the jam nut then adjusted it from there.

    I had heard our stock cv take a lot of angle but the super gorilla or whatever brand I can't remember lol brag being able to have angle of 45 degrees...don't quote me on that though...

  9. The kit I bought has turned out to be anything but a kit. Turbo compressor inlet and outlet smaller than intercooler piping supplied in the "kit". So there's no way to hook it up. Of course no one in town has anything to adapt it with. Then the straight pipe with the flange welded into it for the BOV is 2.25", the intercooler in/outlet are something over 2.25" but less than 2.50", and all the piping and connectors are 2". But wait, turbo compressor inlet is 1.75" and outlet is 1.5". Got a lot of cool s#*t, but none of it works together. I wish I had it to purchase all over again. I would buy the individual components myself. Then I'd know they would fit.

    What/where did you get this kit I'm curious?

    Id be mad if i got lot of stuff that don't match up as well

  10. yes lot more torque. not much on big in thats i went with small charger spin up quick. i've not got on big hill yet.

    Really i thought 7psi would be good boost with extra power....what size turbo are you using?

  11. Hey fellas raed this topic through and was curious about a brand new turbo i actually bought for a mustang i had. The turbo is a T4 that is made for 1.9 to 2.3 liter ford 4 cylinder engines and i figured since i allready have it can i run it on my stock engine or do i have to put lots of mods on it?

    I'm not sure but i would think that turbo is pretty big for a 1100cc? Too big turbo would make turbo lag

  12. Hey guys anyone know we're to get tie tod ends Jmc is out of them right now and not sure I wanna call sb. I know Lenny u got pretty crafty with a set up! I have one that's little loose

    What u mean by little loose?

    Mine are "little loose" also and i thought those was bad so i ordered new set of ball joints and tie rods, they also was "little loose" i thought that was weird because whenever i get ball joint or tie rod for any automotive vehicle...those are very stiff and hard to move like it's very good..why isn't trooper ball joints and tie rods tight when new like that i wonder?

  13. Just had a disturbing thought I the whole sand tire deal. I was planning to use the stock 14" with 27" tires upfront and 33" on back. Now I'm second guessing if I can do that. Will the different tire height-size, equaling different wheel speed front to back, destroy the drive train? I'm not sure how/where the 4x4 engages. If I don't engage the 4x4, will any one part of the drive train be locked into the two different wheel speeds?

    At end of front driveshaft between the driveshaft and front differential there's a device that connect and disconnect your front drive

  14. See u guys are all lucky u get to ride and see other Joyners and troopers only side by side I ride with is my brothers rzr570 wich is a pretty Awsome little ride! I guess I'm just trying to make the trooper perfect wich it's not but nothing really is I guess lol

    I wish i was that lucky lol, there's no one else that i know here that have ATV or UTV to go riding with me so i just go trail riding with wife solo

  15. Charlie,

    Way i see it....we could go out and buy brand name and pay double or more and still have to replace stuff on it. I see it that i save money buying a trooper and already faster than any other out the box.

    The money we saved by buying Joyner can be spent in improving Joyner then when we spend as much as what others spent on ranger/rzr etc well i believe we got an completely better machine that's out of other utv league for now anyways.
