  1. Happy Holidays from the DARK SIDE (Jeeps)! LOL!

    rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

Jeeps r far from the darkside lol there like a trooper on steroids

Lol actually at one time before... I was considering pair of jeep Dana 44 axles or front Dana 44 and rear Ford 8.8 axle to swap into trooper and build coil over triangulated 4 link in front and rear and have better flexing and cheap parts. That would be the ultimate for me, but of course give up the nice ride we get from independent suspension system.

But I feel same as Charlie.. Lol trooper are childrens born from jeeps!

Ps i have read 6 pages of complants so i know your fustration with the old owner ship. Its a shame he treated Joyner customers in that fashion. This will not happen with Silverbulletmotorsports.net In the coming years.I can assure you.

That sounds good.. I'll be placing a order in the " new year " to give you an fair chance.

  3. I got mixed feelings but eager to see what happens

Same here. If he have what I'm interested in... I will give him an chance.

That's the least we can do but however I'll rather pay via Paypal or visa some kind of third party to bring in instead of sending checks or money order and never see the money again (that's the case for some members here)

I'm looking to getting a steering gearbox upgrade that I needed still lol

  4. HELLO..... Any one out there??? Its Friday morning the 21st and not sure if i am the only one that survived.. If anybody is out there I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

Hello here I am!!! Looking at hordes of zombies coming for me..... No just kidding I think that whole 12/21/12 is a hoax and there's many versions of how world would end... Like last night it would have happened or maybe tonight at 12:01 or the next day after the 12/21/12 but whatever I laugh at those! Lol. We only got 2 inch of snow for " going away gift"

If world do end... We all should meet up somewhere and create a Joyner gang club j/k lol

  6. Nice work so you plan charge it with "free" air or some sort of gas?

If I understand right, purpose of reservoir is to give extra pressure when you have extra weight in back?

You just charge up the shocks then shut the reservoir from the shocks then charge the reservoir itself then when you get extra weight you open up the reservoir to give more lift?

  7. Maybe you should try have a poll each month for the "utv of the month" no playing favorite towards one brand or other? LOL

I think most people come here looking for help and some got help here on old odd stuff it seems like.

  8. Nocturnal:

Not like a police car. Desert racing, so we use it for pre-running, and during the race I carry parts, tools etc to help if the team breaks down.

    Your point sounded cool though.

Still fun, i was thinking border patrol lol....

Also while i was thinking about what u said about Honda engine...i was considering the gm 3100/3400 or 3800 60° v6 with 4t60e transmission in trooper because in usa/Mexico those are very plentiful.

Then we would have to get the Ford 7.5" diff from goindeep or build or own diffs or go with a full solid Dana 30 35 44 whatever or for front axle...use a Chevy front 7.5/8.5 diff out of a s10 or full size and the rear diff out a t bird with 8.8 ring or something..that would be overkill i imagine lol

EDITED: Dethobica, was you planning on going with a manual or automatic transaxle?

4T60e is front wheel drive overdrive transmission used in gm fwd cars, vans etc from 90's up to recently, same thing for the engine mentioned

  9. Kinarfi,

On the how not exactly sure. When it actually snapped I was flying down a graded gravel road. I do have the 2008 version with the U Joint, will go to the CV.

Over the last years, I have used the trooper as a chase car here in Mexico where I live. It has seen the toughest environment possible. I'm continually pushing it to the limits through deep woops, deep sand and silt, salt water washes. It has been a trooper no pun intended. I'm sure the miles of bottoming out on rocks hasn't helped either.

Used like a police car? Sounds like tons of fun id probably enjoy that job lol

  11. Also with compression test i was taught to always have the throttle body wide open (pedal to the metal) that way you are allowing equal amount of air into each cylinder but that's with the engine not taken apart at all
