  1. Hello congrats on the little on. COLD COLD WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT COLD? I LIVE 80 miles from Canada I have seen snow every month of the year. Every year we get a cold snap that will be -30 that's below 0. I have seen -60 without wind chill. And then we will be 110 in the summer not every summer but most. A Few years ago it was cold all summer long we got snow on the 5th of July. But its all good.

  2. Has anyone made mods to the solid skid plate on the earlier Trooper? I know there was a post about cutting a hole to drain the Engine Oil. Has anyone did anything else. I want to be able be able to work on the thing without pulling the engine. I am also thinking of lighting wieght in the future.

    Thanks,

    rocmoc n AZ/Mexico

What you could do is cut the old one of leaving 1-2" of the old one. Cut the new one just a bit smaller then the old one over lap and attach it to what is left of the old one with nuts and bolts. the first time I changed my diffs and oil i scraped the screws went with hex head bolts put nuts on the top side. I had a hell of a time getting some of them off from buggering them up on the rocks. Just what I did. Todd

  3. I started riding a Honda mini trail50 at 3 1/2. Then it was a RUPP HUSTLER75 Honda 75 YZ80 YZ465. After that I got my licence started drivig cars. only real racing was a Jetski race and cops never lost. Now here I am 40 and find the old itch is back cant go fast enough or jump high enough. The first day I had the BMS 1100 I had it 6' of the groung he$$ it wasent 20 minuts. I have been driving a ditch from our house to our lake cabin 15 miles away. I now have a good trail and each time i go it gets faster and faster. This last weekend I was going 65 hiting aproches at 40-45 clearing the road and landing in the ditch on the other side. Ijust cant get enough WOT!!!!

  4. I changed my diffs and tranny at 250 miles as it says in the maintenance schedule. And it had some metal in it. I will be changing it again shortly. I changed all the the screws and nuts to hex head bolts. Also put the nut on top as some had to be cut off from scraping across rocks. My air filter and prefilter will be here today. Now I just need to move the intake up over the top of the cage.

  5. I was just wondering how hard everyone pushes there Trooper? I tend to run WOT all the time. Not at first of course had to break it in so to speak.

But now it gets driven like its a rally car or like they say drive it like you stole it (and are being chased). I was just wondering if anyone else drives it like that or if I will be the one to find the limets as to how much this thing will or wont take. Whats your avarage speed and whats your and how far

between stops? I tend to go for about 20 to 30 miles running 45-60 mph and stop to let the Trooper catch its breath. Thanks for shearing.

  6. Hello all glad to find a new place to discus the Trooper with out all the garbage. I agree it is a kick a$$ toy I just love the ride. I don't have any trails up here so I run gravel roads but I love to run the ditches umping the approaches this thing is AWESOME.

  7. Hi I am from North Dakota and have a Trooper2 and a BMS 1100cc dune buggy. Driving them has got to be the most fun you can legally have.

Just got the BMS in June and the Trooper in August and cant get enough time in them. I only have 750 miles on the buggy and 350 0n the Trooper. Cant wait to get some snow to see how the Trooper will do. Possible this weekend could be 10-12" although it wont stay long yet.
