The big horn tires have a softer sidewall, so it could be the front -end is sucking the bump up alot better.
Any idea what I could do to stop this from happening.

Not sure what the weather is in Fargo I live about 250 miles from there. We live in a small town called Garrison on the north shore of lake Sacajawea. Its a very big lake we actually have more shore line then California. I went out on Wednesday to figure out which approach was the best one and kept landing hard on the front. I'm not sure what changed I put 2 new Bighorns on the front but I don't think they are that much heavier then the stock tires. I have not made it out since trying to get the yard and house ready for winter its supposed to snow next week and it might be here till spring. Its already been a long fall but I will try again tomorrow. I just don't under stand why I am landing on the nose so hard except for the tires I have not changed anything. Those are beautiful crystals. Did you just find them at the mine you were talking about?

I think its a great idea count me in.

Thank you I thought about it but did not think it was a good idea. You folks will do a great job.

Thanks but unfortunately no RV. We have a lake cabin and spend all our free time there. But I think we are going to sell it so maybe some day we will get an RV.
-
Thank you that's about what I figured.

Thank you very much Kinarfi. Chasing sounds much more fun.

Sorry I did not get a chance to get out this weekend. The wind was blowing 40-45 Sat. and 56 on Sun. I hope to get out this week its not going to be so windy. I may be crazy but I am not stupid it was just not going to be safe. But I should be able to get the video this week or at least this weekend.

Thanks Mike but I don't like your math. I would rather be 41 much better place in life and we have the Trooper to much fun.

Yes there is a rev limiter.

Don't know if I could talk my wife into it. All our kids and family live up here. Also cost of living would be much more I think but won't stop me from dreaming.

If I clear the approach completely and land on the flat bottom of the ditch it bottoms out but its not violent like it can be in my other buggy. If I land on the down slope of the other side it is sooo nice. It just feels like landing on a feather. The difference is about 3-4' more drop to the bottom of the ditch.

Man that sounds like fun I wish I lived down there. Just might have to move there instead of South Dakota.

I feel the problem is more the height off the floor but that it a very good idea I will try it just might be the ticket and would save some money and work.

Would a cheap set of gas shocks help? My other thought was a set of Rancho 5000 I have laying around.
-
The next question would be the fuel tank under the passenger seat what the heck would I do with that?
-
Sorry I know this is a UTV site but I hope no one minds. On my buggy I keep bottoming out and was hopping some one would have a suggestion on what I could do. Would it help to just add a shock? The ones on it are coil overs and as far as I can tell they are not adjustable.

Is there a seat that anyone knows of for the Trooper that reclines. I also think I will be looking into lowering the seat a little I have bad knees and they get really sore after about an hour. I just cant seam to stop and get out its just to fun. In my other buggy the seats are closer to the floor and recline and I don't seam to get as sore as fast.

Thats a very nice looking ride. Are those speakers on the rear bar?
-
From what I have gathered from reading all the posts and looking at the pics of the Troopers I have already has the fuel pump next to the tank and the latches for the rear rack are behind the seats. Does any one have any idea what kind of mileage they get I Have never bothered to figure it out but I think its good.

I don't remember what my figures are from post to post so I am sorry If I miss led you the facts are still the same. I will hit the approach and clear it lets see you and your RZR do the same. Sounds like a challenge to me!

Yes we do have dunes in ND but that's not what I am jumping. I am not jumping on soft sand I am jumping approaches in the ditch and landing on the other side of the approach on hard dirt not soft sand. I may be only 1-3' above the approach but its 4-5' down to the ground where I land. And if you add the numbers to total is the amount of drop from the peak of the jump.
