  1. Thanks talked to the guys in Yuma they think they have one. The only question was did mine have square or rounded corners. I have the 2008 model it is slightly rounded guess I can send them a pic also. Good thought on the toggle switch though.

  2. I was in San Felipe running the river bed with about 2 feet of water, had a great time mudding with the kids. Got back to the condo and did my best to clean the T4 up with just a regular garden hose. The next morning I figured I would get out on the beach with the water resided and run down to the dunes. As I was going donw to the beach I heard some electrical whining, didn't think much of it until I went to use 4 wheel drive, and it wasn't there. I started thinking I did here something like that when I was cleaning it also the night before, but it stopped. As I think about it more it sounds like a selector switch or something trying to go back and forth repeatedly. Not really sure what problem I have. Haven't taken it our for some time now, so battery is dead, but was still able to us it just in 2 wheel drive with no other problems.

Could it be easy as a loose connector?

    Thanks

    Casey

  3. I prefer the Lowrance, bit pricy but living in the BAJA and riding hard it is worth it. I am looking for one for the buggy, currently use one in the truck for pitting races. Have been able to drive all over the northern BAJA without problems.

  4. I think I'm going to go for the roof rack, since I have very little rain here, and I like to take long hauls if possible. I want to do a coast to coast run in Mexico next fall with some friends. We would start in San Felipe, and go over to Ensenada and back. Would use a lot of the roads used by the BAJA races, and the extra space will be necessary to carry extra tires, gas, camping gear and such.

With the roof rack it looks like just 6 bolts or so connect it for the t4, so should be easy enough to take on and off, since I have only 3 inch cleareance coming into my garage at this time.

  5. Plumber, do you need some wheels for those tires, or maybe some extra wheels? I got another deal for someone, at present I have my old rear tire mounted on top for my spare. I like my new tires that are mounted on 14 X 6 in. wheels and would like a 5th one. If someone wants two (2) used rear tires on the 14 X 8 wheels with tubes, I'll trade for one General Grabber AT2 27x8.50 R14 95Q 6PR OWL tire mounted on a stock 14 X 6 in wheel.

The tire in the center, one of the wheels had a rock lodge between the brake and the inside of the wheel. It caused a scratch all the way around and finally caused a shallow dent inwards as the rock shattered. This caused a leak and was repaired using JB Weld epoxy to seal the hole, both inside and out, it worked fine, the tube was put in later when the tire developed a leak in the side wall. Photos later.

    Tire shipped to me $98.92

    Wheel shipped to me $105.74

    Mount tire locally $12.50

Total for (2) used rear tires on the 14 X 8 wheels with tubes $217.16 + shipping.

    Kinarfi,

Let me try to get this straight what you are offering? 2used back tires, and 2 back rims 14*8. I understand about the wear and tear on the one rim.

The new not mounted tire (Front Tire) (on the right) is for sale if anyone wants it, $115 from Joyner, I'll let this on go for $80 + Shipping

I'm interested in this. How can I pay you for it though? Since I'm eating my tires lately, I would be great to get this. PM to come.

Thanks for the tip on dailing, I printed it out and stuck next to the old rotary phone. LOL

  7. Snow, haven't seen much of that expect when I go to Mammoth to ski, otherwise almost 20+ years when I lived in Michigan. A sled wow, haven't been one since 84, think it was something like a 400 Ski Doo don't really remember. The was a crazy ride, the sled ended up in the bottom of the pond, and we pulled it out the next year with a Tractor.

  8. Well I've tried for 3 days to order the rim on line, but I get an error message after choosing shipping instruction. Maybe because I'm in Mexico. I guess I have to do it the old fashion way and use a phone. Anyone have instruction on how to use the phone. LOL
