I went with the Vision 15" rims with 30 inch BF Goodrich tires. I just got back today from the Baja 250 and the tires made a big difference for me. Since I have the T-4 also the extra lift is great. I did also add a better fuel pump. I was flying over pieces of the course today having a blast. Now more suspension here I come.

Lenny can you pustom a sticker in front of the Joyner sticker that says "Custom" it,fits what you have done. Very nice work and something to be proud of.

where are you located? Do you have a number to call?
-
PICS are up now of the radiator, T-Bar, Rims and Tires.

I'm such a race nut, more pilot than mechanic and not good at the first but worse as a mechanic. The race series out here are huge investments mostly, there are some stock classes, and a UTV category, but with all the Trophy Trucks very little attention paid to the people that paved the past prior to big money taking over. I will continue to follow this series and watch how you do, best of luck and bring home the bacon.

Great! Glad to hear someone is racing a Trooper. I will follow the website.

Choose the BF Goodrich all terrains on the Vision 15" rim. I have used BF Goodrich for Desert running for some time so sticking to old habits.
I will check the pressure still looking for something more though. Will take pics tomorrow.

Well it's up and running now. Had a bad fuel filter only. Now thinking about what is next still need to put up my photos of the tires and radiator along with the T-bar for the co-pilot. Shocks are on my mind.

Same thing here, not sure what a snow plow is. Been enjoying almost 80 already

I might be in the same boat, I finally got almost everything done, and ready for the race, pulled the buggy off the ramp fired it up, got really excited, dropped it in second and punched it, reacted well then died. Restarts, same thing, went and checked the fuel pressure it bounces like crazy between 20-60 i think. I also bought a new pump recently losted below. It will go back to the mechanic, and maybe I'm need to buy another pump.

The saga continues. Tomorrow hopefully it will be home to take to the race on Saturday as a chase vehicle.
Basically a handful of electrical problems, it is a temp fix to use for the weekend then back to the shop Monday and let the electrician loose to fix it correctly. I have found many of the threads around electric issues, will need to translate them for him if he wants them, but I doubt it. He has put enough race vehicles together from scratch.
I hope to get pictures with the new tires and radiator set-up this weekend to post, and I will be interested in how the change of the fuel pump to the higher pressure affects if at all.
Lastly I just need to do it and buy the King Shocks and be done with it. Maybe I'll wait to see the extent of the electrical stuff first. M

They know what we need? Do you have # for the shocks we would need? What number did you call? Thanks for any help.
714-530-8701 is there number. I don't remember who I talked to directly though. Almost $600'per shock

True that. I can't see in the dark

There are post about Kings and I called them and they have them. Just a pretty penny only.

No monsoons here. Just dry and hot we average Less than 3" per year. And of course no border patrol on this side

Back to 4x4 problems, replaced switches with toogles but electric motor is shot new one on the way, also need to replace the winch read almost every post related to winches yesterday. I always carry a tow strap, so I will look for something else. I like the idea of a rope style but would like 100 ft or so.
Hopefully next week late or the following week. Will be ready for the Baja 250 though for sure.
-
Takers no, you will bake in August it will be 115-120 for weeks

Looks good!

Well my motor cranks, and sounds good no motor changes. Had to replace the radiator went with a 22x19 made some slight mods to make it fit upgraded fan tom1750 cfms. Went with the upgrade fuel pumps also. Yesterday I order the Vision rims 15x8 and some BF Goodrich 30 x 9.5 x 15. I'm also talking with King about the possibility of swap out the shocks.
At this moment the trooper is at the mechanic he is doing a complete review, I mentioned the differential issues people have had. He has mentioned already to do some reinforcement welding, if I remember correctly someone mentioned to unplug the computer prior to welding correct?
When he is done I will update with pics of the radiator.
I plan to be ready for the Jamboree. I will definitely bring a camera and take notes.
