I really believe that the design of the Hisun 500/700 is very good but the people building them are very bad.  They apparently  know nothing (or just don't care) about quality control and customer support.  If a good company were to buy them out and fire everyone that ever had anything to do with building them and replace with good engineers, QC, customer support people, they could corner the market.  As it is now don't buy one unless you are fully ready to maintain it on your own because you will have problems.

The engine is a 95% clone of YAMAHA Rhino but built with lesser quality parts and assembly..I Have replaced broken defective parts with YAMAHA Parts on my 500 Hisun engine. It has become acceptable SXS now. Mine broke on its first day in its first mile. Neither Hisun or Massimo would back warranty. 6 trips to shop all paid out of pocket..I discourage anyone from buying anything made by Hisun.☠

    Have you considered electric?

I find your post very interesting.  I just took a quick look and they do look like nice machines, but I don't have a dealer within 70 miles that I see. Your post makes me want me to take a closer look.  If I were to be shopping for a machine, I'd make an effort to consider the CFMOTO.   My Honda Foreman ATV is about 24 years old, and it could have a premature serious problem, but so far it keeps on plowing snow and hauling firewood.  LOL

I highly recommend a test ride.. even if you have  to go70 mi .. I m 70 yrs old and rode ATVs since a kid so I speak from experience.I too have 1 Honda thats 25 yrs old and still runs.  But  I was genuinely impressed with CF MOTO. And no, I dont work for them..   We have had zero issues with ours and I do not baby them!

  5. I have owned many Hondas over the last 40 yrs.. All were absolutely bulletproof machines..  but I must say I bought a CF MOTO ATV  1 1/2 yrs ago because there were no Hondas available anywhere..   and it is fabulous..  2 yr warrantee, dealers everywhere if I need one.. But so far, oil change is all its needed.. and it smokes my Hondas.  My wife loves the automatic CVT trans and power steering and smooth IRS ...

Yes! The U1 battery format is one of the shortsighted design issues in the 550 series. It is completely unsuitable for a UTV, but that is the hand we are dealt.I assume that you use the same battery in your 410.

Just buy the biggest and best unit that will fit in the tray. I bought an AGM 350 CCA battery from Amazon. (ASIN: B0CKSKHDM6)

There may be others that fit in that space, but my issue was resolved using the Sealed AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) construction rather than the flooded lead acid design.

And NEVER buy a N-EVERSTART battery from the Big Wally if you want to get home!

    🏁

Agree on N Everstart battery..junk...I Have been using CHROME BATTERIES  for years in all my ATV UTVs.  Excellent battery. 2 yr warrantees
