So it backfires when first started? And is this carb or injected?

Checked with a friend that just bought the TERYX 1000 last month and he's loving it. Supposed to go out riding with him this weekend so maybe I'll have some first hand experience . Of course that's another 10 G !

Read quite a few responses to a question like this on a hunting forum I'm on and there were always fewer issues reported by Kawasaki owners than Can Am.

After owning a Polaris Sportsman forever, I bought a golf cart to use as well. That went well for a couple years but I recently decided to sell both and move up to a UTV. After looking at and missing out on a few used units, I decided to buy new and went with my avatar. Since finding this forum I've read a few horror stories about the older Massimo models and am aware of the "fixes" for those. Currently still in the break-in mode and adding accessories along the way. May do a few trail rides here and there, but it's mostly a hunting vehicle, so it's main use will be to haul stands in and deer out!

Hmm, a third the size of the one I bought from them for my truck yet twice the price. I've been thinking about making one out of the one they replaced due to the velcro failing anyway. I will say this though, they stand behind their products. NO questions asked when I called them about the velcro, they took my info and sent a new one pronto.
