My grand nephew took my trooper out and stalled it on a hill and it rolled backwards spinning the motor backwards and now the throttle will not drop below 2500 RPM. Can the butterfly snap backwards on the trooper causing damage to it when the motor gets turned backwards? Any ideas?

Look at it this way. We are still driving utv's like there is no tomorrow, eating good food and discovering new pain meds every day, I have 10 grandkids and I feel totally wealthy even though I don't have any money. I still wouldn't trade it for the world. Family is what it is all about.

I also got my knees replaced but they work pretty well. You might look at the rear pickup bed drop steps available to help us step into the back bed of a pickup, which you could mount on the side of you buggy and it flips up out of the way when you are riding. That way you carry your step with you. It helps me for the same reason. The bed is to high to sit up on and the bumper is to high for my knees to get up to it.

For ability to get around your UTV/atv is much more capable than any existing wheelchairs including the track style. Their range is very limited and they are not good on wet slippery surfaces or any kind of steep hill or sidehill. Can you modify or have somebody else modify your side by side to make it easy to access. Looking at your side by side it looks like some overhead straps could help your access. You didn't mention if you are paraplegic or quadriplegic.

I have had good luck with my Joyner Trooper, but I don't take it out jumping dunes either. For a trail rig, it is great. They have a few hiccups that I took care of when I first got it, but it seems pretty hardy after that. I had to put copper shims in the steering box and power steering.

You have obviously done a lot of modification to your trooper. What was the reasoning behind the mods. Lack of Parts, you are 7' tall,????? -

Just bend up a piece of polycarbonate. -
I tried those tires and they work fabulous in sand, and really suck on dirt roads. You are literally all over the road at any speed past 25-30 mph. -

Ever since I replaced the plastic engine cover with an expanded metal cover (See photo) I have not had any cooling issues on the motor. It is important to blow out the radiator after every trip as the passages on the radiator are very small and plug up very easily. I also changed the rear fenders to 3/16 polycarbonate and bent them so that the wheel could not hit them in the upswing. -
I would be very interested in knowing what parts are available and the cost. Do you have any kind of inventory sheet and phone number or active email that you can be communicated with.

Are these ball joints identical to the stock ones and where do you get them.
