I was looking to upgrade my worn out tires and finally settled for the new ITP SS212 15" rims with BF Goodrich LT235/75R15 AT tires. The 29" diameter tire seemed a good compromise between the smaller 27" and the larger 30" tires leaving me a little more room for wheel travel. Since I have a T-4 model I was concerned with the weight carrying capacity of both the tire and rim. Each of the new ITP rims has a 1000lb rating with the load carrying capacity of the tire well over that. With an occasional load of overweight 50 year olds, myself included, you've got to be careful.

When aired down they just envelope and roll over rocks instead of bouncing over them. In deep sandy or gravel the tire gets on top of the material instead of plowing thru it like the originals. There is hardly any rock throwback into the cab and the best part is if I want to take a short cut home at the end of the day, I just put it up on the road and it runs smoooth on the asphalt.

This has turned out to be a sweet setup for the Arizona desert where I ride and I would highly recommend it.

ROCMOC,

Do your 31X10.50X15 rub at all? What wheels are you running and with what back spacing?

i think the offset is 5x2.Him and Lenny both run the 31's and yes they had to do some mods so they wouldnt rub.

Lenny cut the firewall and weld a new wall. I used a BIG HAMMER! No rub, LOL! You really don't have to cut or beat that much to get enough clearance. I will find the link to the post with all my wheel info.

Rocmoc is right, you don't need much. I did it the way I did because I run 33x12-15 paddles tires on the front. The way I did it, they don't rub either. With 14.5" of travel and the paddles, my fenders had to be a lot higher. I run 33x16 paddles on the rear. Who knows, it might even float with the paddles on.

Hi everyone and I hope that is not a too forward questions for us newbies.
My husband and I are ready (next Spring) to open our newly developed nudist campground in Iowa and we are now looking for interesting activities to host.
Don't worry we are not going to try and sell you a membership because as of 2 weeks ago all of our 50 campsites are sold out for the 2024 season.
It was my job to sell site and now that is complete i am looking for interesting actives host for weekend.
We have 300 acres of woods, grassland, swamps and 2 small ponds/lakes and dozens of miles of riding trails.
we have gotten county approval for the complete 300 acres to be clothing optional.
We think we have a great spot for a weekend or several day ATV / mudder event.
Clothing would be optional for all participants and plenty of room for overnight camping and outdoor group showers.
Now we are looking to you pro  ATV riders to let us know if you think your group of people would fit in with ours.
Feel free to ask anything you would like to get a better idea of what we offer.

I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.
