I been thinking about putting an oil cooler on my Trooper were would you put it at I was thing about were the two x-bracing behind the cab up high by the top the fan is a puller so it shouldn't blow no hot air in the cab

Joyner have included an oil cooler on the list of improvements for the Trooper upgrade along with a new modular safari bed, an air scoop on the side, upgraded shocks front & rear, a new exhaust system, headlight relocation and new wheels.

I would like to think that these upgrades will be available as spare parts so current Trooper owners can enjoy those improvements too. If you are interested in these upgrades, send an email through to JMC if you are in the States.

Plumber, I'm not sure where they are going to instill the oil cooler on the new model Trooper, but details can't be to far away, surely.

Cheers Mike.

You can buy an adapter that intercepts the oil from the oil filter port. It will provide an outgoing port and a return port. The engine oil pump cycles the oil through for you. All you need to do is run the lines from the adapter to and from the oil cooling radiator. If you put the radiator where it can get good air flow, you may not need a fan, just go with a little larger radiator.

Well I,m done with my oil cooler here are some pic and part numbers. I bought everything from Jegs, if you don't need a fan they have kits for as low as 83.00 Derale #259-15501. First of all let me say the first thing you need to do is look at your oil filter to see if yours take a 20mmx1.5 or 3/4-16 sandwich adapter you can look in parts and pieces to see what you need. This is what I used on mine Derale 15830 oil cooler #259-15830 111.99,thermostatic sandwich adapter #555-51712 22.99 oil cooler hose #555-51720 24.99. If you used the ph4967 oil filter the o ring is to small so you have to used a ph3614 oii filter so it don't leak oil.Rocmoc all it said is it fits ford , chryler and imports it does not give engine type

You used the 3/4"-16 adapter. The threads in the T2 motor block are 20mm-1.5. The 20mm is .037" larger then the 3/4" so it must have been a tight fit but evidently it went on for you. The thread pitch is close between the 2 only going off about 1/2 thread in about 6-7 threads so this too would probably squeeze on. I'm going to add an oil cooler to mine and will try and find a 20mm-1.5 but if I can't I'll be using the 3/4-16. One thing nice is that you can go to a larger filter. Preferrably a synthetic long mileage oil filter like a Mobile 1 filter which filters down to a much smaller particle size. My larger oil pan has made a nice improvement but the oil could still be a little cooler. Thanks for the info and part numbers.

I would cut the front of the side scoop off, the one just below the front of the rear deck, so it catches air then mount the cooler in that air flow just inside the scoop opening.

Has anyone with a K9 2400 had issues your machine, My wife uses this one around the house. We have 60 pampered miles on hers and had a few issues. The master cylinder went out the 1st 30 miles, and again the master cylinder went out at 60 miles, I have been waiting for the dealer to install a new one for over a month now. the electric dump unit went bad at 55 miles, used it 5 times, window winder knob broke off handle on both sides, after a rain when I pull out it's a wall of rusty water that runs down firewall inside cab. Rusty water runs out tail gate when I lay it down, had to drill holes in bottom of tailgate to let rainwater out. I have a Polaris Ranger and a Kubota side by side, both have over 1600 hours and only had to do routine maintenance on these 2 old machines

      Hi everyone,
I’m considering installing a soft cab enclosure on my vehicle and wanted to get some insights from experienced users.
I’m particularly curious about which materials hold up best in different weather conditions and how to properly secure the enclosure to prevent leaks or wind noise.
Are there specific brands or models you recommend for durability and ease of use?
Also, how do you handle cleaning and maintenance without causing damage?
Any tips, tricks, or common mistakes to avoid would be incredibly helpful.

      Hey yall,
Helping a friend out. he purchased a 2020 massimo buck 400 utv. has about 100 hours on it. after starting the engine, shifter in low, it does fine. when shifted to high gear, most of the time it acts like its not in gear completely, and it pops out and grinds bad. when you can get it in high gear, it acts like something is binding and it wont hardley roll before it jumps out of gear and makes that grinding noise. almost like trying to dr4ive a standard transmission car and start off in 3rd or 4th gear.
I have been on this site for several hours now, and totally understand the overall feeling about massimo utv. I can only imagine trying to find transmission parts when other members cant even find a fuel filter, lol.
A new transmission is (part#47516) $1159.99 plus tax and freight.
anyone have any other ideas or suggestions on what is causing the noise in high gear and not wanting to move?
      Thanks ,
      Chris

I’ve been eyeing a Hisun 500 soft cab enclosure upper doors setup for my UTV, but I’m really not sure if it’s a smart move. The idea of doors and some protection sounds appealing, but I worry they might just be a flimsy afterthought — weak zippers, thin plastic windows, maybe leaking or fogging when wet or cold. What good is “protection” if it doesn’t seal well? Also concerned about ventilation: with soft doors, does the cab get too muggy or stuffy?
Anyone here use soft-cab doors on a Hisun 500 — did they actually hold up for real riding conditions, or did you end up ditching them for hard doors (or no doors)?

      Hello -
New here - and looking hard at a 2026 Mule Pro-FXT 1000.  My wife insists we'll be going with the Platinum Ranch, because in her words, we already saved $ by not going with a Honda 1000-6.  Ready to pull the trigger on this ... almost.
We were looking at the factory soft cab, but then realized this won't work with the standard hard top, as the soft cab has dual back windows to accommodate the 3/6 folding seats.  However, we like the hard top.  So recognizing there's a lot available in the aftermarket world, does anyone have suggestions relative to an aftermarket soft cab (sides, rear window, etc.) that will work with factory hard top, windshield and doors - and also allows for a (relatively) simple 3/6 seat conversion?
      Thanks,
      dogfood
