New Mule Owner...need a little help

Hi folks...1st post as a new Mule owner.

Actually, I have bought a new 2011 Mule 610 (standard model) and will be picking it up on Wednesday next week. I found a used 2010 5' x10' utility trailer (3000 pound axle and 15" wheels) with a tilt bed, so I am ready to go and get it!

Well, maybe.

I never owned one of these units before, and I have had a couple of short test drives....

I am sure open to any suggestions and advice for this new UTV....

First question is how do I get it on to the trailer. I assume that I just tilt the bed and drive it on. Seems too simple to me. How might you suggest I tie it down. I bought two tie straps that are 2" wide and 10' long with hooks on each end.. I am assumming I can wrap each strap around an axle or the frame and ratchet it to the frame rails...anything else I need to do?

Should I position the mule all the way to the front rail of the trailer or should I try to center it?

Silly question, I know, but I really do not want to wreck it on the ay home from the dealer...thanks in advance for the help...

Good product !

Just drop the bed and drive it on !

I ALWAYS use at least 4 straps, most of the time 6 or more. If one comes loose you are still OK. If you only use two, ONE comes loose you are in sad shape !

Place the Mule in the center then pull forward to put some extra (small amount) on the front of the trailer. You are suppose to be carrying 10% more weight on the nose of the trailer. You should be able to see you tow vehicle sag down a little as you pull forward. If you don't the trailer will whip as you get up to speed. Watch the trailer as you first start down the road for the whipping. If it does, pull over and adjust, don't just keep driving.

Let us know how you did.

Good luck & have fun !

Put a new carb on the 500 to replace the leaking OE one.  Machine idles fine and mid and top end runs great.  It tends to have a hesitation right from the start - bottom end.   Thinking it may be the air/fuel screw??  I didn't do anything with the carb out of the box and is it direct replacement for my machine.  Of interest is the manual choke doesn't seem to work very good now.... wonder is it getting too much air?

      Any help appreciated!

I picked up this Hisun 700cc for a good deal. no crank no start unit 1900 miles on it. Put a new battery and starter solenoid fired right up but sounded rough some kind of rattle/clunk noise.  Does anyone know what this noise could be? Couldn't get a better video of it running as i don't want to risk doing more damage. Drained the oil it looks good no metal in it.

Hey guys! Newbie here. I'm an old man who's better with plowing a mule (4-legged kind) than these newfangled beasts. I, and a friend of mine, just bought new Coleman sxs and are having to finish the assembly. I've been reading on this site and I'm falling on the mercy of you experts. The only way I'm an expert is that an "ex" is a has been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure. LOL First off, the 2 buggies have no ignition switches. They seem to mount on the dash, not the opening in the steering wheel shaft cover, so we ordered new ones that are supposed to fit. They are 8 inches long, and have a 4-wired white plugin which is slightly rectangled when looking at the end of the plug. The trouble is there's nothing to plug into. There is a three-wire grey plug close enough to reach the four-wire plug, but of course, they are not compatible.
Secondly, the blinker, light, ect. unit on steering wheel just spins around when touched. I see no way in heaven or earth to secure it. I've looked at a diagram on the Powersports site, but can't detect how it mounted. Fellows I'd be so grateful for any help with this. Me and my mule will even plow your garden for free, for your help. LOL

I have a 2020 Tracker 800SX LE that I bought new in 2020.  Yesterday I noticed two cracks in the bed on the inside corners at the tailgate end.  They go all the way through.   I use it around the property moving firewood, dirt and stuff.  Never put stress on the sides of the bed.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there a fix?  Help!!!
