explain please

what happened to the temp sensor that was there, is it gone, it sends a signal to the computer so that the computer can adjust the fuel to the temperature.

find A08 in the above file, if you want to take a chance on burning a hole in the piston by running too lean, you could substitute a resistor, but I would suggest putting the original back and find a different place for your manual gauge.

It has been a long time since I messed with my temperature sensor, but I think it may have been 2 sensors in one, one for the computer and one for the gauge, if I remember correctly, you can measure the resistance from terminal to terminal and from terminal to ground.

I don't know how or if the computer uses these readings, except to guess that if the computer thinks the engine is hot, maybe it dumps lots of fuel into it trying to keep it cooler, or if it thinks the engine is cold, it richens the mixture for easier ignition. I do not know. and I don't know what value of resistor to suggest.

I guess my suggestion would be to buy a new standard sensor and figure out how to put it back in.

When you get the new one, can you take some measurements?

First, do you have a good Ohm meter? If so, can you measure the resistances of terminal to terminal and each terminal to case while in a bath of ice water, then while in boiling water or hot oil if you have a way to measure the temperature,

The computer does need the temp sensor to work correctly.

Lenny

Which sensor Lenny - the one at the head or the one on the radiator at the bottom?

I took the Rad one out and put my temp sensor there, and have had no running issues at all. Hopefully I pulled the right one...

The one in the heads is the one that the computer is interested in.

I have a 2004 KUBOTA RTV 900 DIESEL and I need to replace both front cv axels.I have been online looking at them and there seems to be a lot of different manufactures to choose from. My question is who makes a good aftermarket set of cv axels for this KUBOTA. I have read horror stories of people buying the  cheap Chinese brand only to find out they don't fit or they don't last very long and fail again. I hate to have to spend over $200 a shaft to get OEM from KUBOTA when I'm sure there is a company out there who probably makes it for them or makes comparable to OEM. Thanks for your help.

I just purchased an Axis Pro 750 from Lowes.  I have two questions not covered in owners manual.  1:  In the glovebox there is a 12V connector, it is HOT with key off, is that for a battery maintainer to be plugged in or what is the purpose?  2:  In the instrument cluster there is a digital read out for hours, miles and odometer,  there is also a digital readout that is flashing, it can be adjusted and looks like 1 - 24  what is it?
