Well I screwed up this weekend. I got my Pro FXT a little deep in the water and it locked up. I got it home pulled the plugs, sucked the water off the top #1 piston. (that was the only chamber with water in it.)The crank case didn't appear to have any water in it but I suspect it broke a piston or rod. I took the belt housing cover off and I cant turn it by hand. When I turn the key all I get is a click. It is now on its way to the dealer Ill give an update hopefully in the next week or two. SAD-DAYS for the pocket book!

Usually  clicking indicates the starter is bad or isn't getting enough juice. I would start by checking  the battery.

read through this thread:

if the battery checks out, i would replace the solenoid, or check for voltage AT the solenoid/starter.. as far as not turning it by hand, i *think* you are supposed to  be able to turn over by hand. but i am not sure on that aspect.

      Just received delivery of a 2024 AMP Pro.  Thought I'd start a thread with my impressions as I use it and learn more.  There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of real-world usage information out there on this model.  Hope this will help others as they research.
      Intended Use Cases
      Fire mitigation / slash removal from a 5 acre forested and well-gamble-oaked property.  The previous owners thought as much about fire mitigation as I do about fashion: not much. Snow removal Stump pulling General hauling (rock, lumber, etc.) Weimaraner energy depletion.  Wasn't an original use case, but a nice added bonus.  Experiences So Far
      Wasn't impressed that two of the bumpers on the underside of the bed where it sits upon the frame were missing.  The metal on metal contact has damaged the powder coating and the frame.  I expect a little better QC.
      I've only put a few hours on it, so not a ton to report on usage.  It isn't quiet; it's silent.  I can't even detect an electric note from the motor. I removed (and subsequently replaced) the motor cover noticed that the motor is German and made by Schambuller.  The motor controller is Italian and made by Dana TM4.  Given the operating specs of both I found on the web, I suspect both are higher quality than the previous Navitas (which is supposed to be decent).  The motor is rated at 25 hp and 71.5 lb-ft of torque.  It feels very powerful.  All the torque is delivered instantly, if desired.
      The bed is huge and has an electric dump as standard.  Great feature but would like it to go up a bit more.  Probably not feasible from an engineering perspective, but I want and I need ;).
      Power steering is nice, but vague.  Probably common to many UTVs, but I am accustomed to more direct results from input.  Plan early and plan often.
      In our first full day of usage, we hauled about 1/2 as much slash as the entire rest of the year when I was doing it by hand cart.  I may get fatter, but I'll also get more done.  After a few days of usage, the battery meter has gone down by 1/10th.

      Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
      I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
      A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
      A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
      And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
      I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
      Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.

      2016 Kubota 1100 RTV Tilt Steering wheel locked Upper Position

      I need help I have a 2016 Kubota 1100 RTV my tilt steering wheel locked in the upper position after using the side release. The handle works but does not release the steering wheel to a lower position. If anyone knows and easy fix, please let me know any help is appreciated. Be Safe, Thanks!

      Hi everyone, I am new to the site and I have one question. My tilt steering wheel is locked in the upper position, and I was hoping for someone could help me with the problem. I did spray some WD 40 in the area of the mechanism but still wheel is locked in the upper most position. I am willing to try anything to get the wheel free and move to a lower position. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!! and Be Safe!

      I have an 2019 Caterpillar cuv85. Which is the same as the prowler pro and the tracker800sx and prob many more. What is everyone doing for a lift? I need more ground clearance. I have seen 1 lift available. But is this the only thing I can do?
