That appears to be a diode.  Can you see any labeling that might start with "1N".  That signifies a diode and no a resistor.  I'll see if I can find something online about it.  But maybe another Coleman owner or dealer can ID the part in the meantime.  A website I visited said that the Coleman may be a rebranded Hisun UTV.

Normally the only thing preventing the engine from starting is the brake lock out switch, some units need the parking brake to be applied to be able to start. Next would be the neutral selector switch. Some engines need to ensure the unit is in neutral to start. By the look of that connector, it might be a bypass switch of sorts. But start with the basics, check to ensure the parking brake does not have a switch on it more than two wires. Two wires will be needed to send the signal to the instrument to allow the dash light to come on letting you know the parking brake is on, if it has more than 2 wires, then its likely also working as a safety switch to prevent the engine from starting without the parking brake on. As for the neutral switch, it should have more than two wires, this has to be working for the engine to start. Although the dash light might light up, that doesnt mean the switch is fully operational. If the switch is faulty, then it will not send the signal to the starter relay allowing the engine to turn over.

My rtv 1140 won't turn over.  I've jumped the neutral switch, and the brake switch, and checked the ignition switch. I'm not getting any power to the trigger wire on the starter solenoid.  It starts fine with the key on and putting power to the trigger wire on the solonoid.
Does a 2010 RTV 1140 cpx have a starter relay?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
Green with purple stripe - hazards?
Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.
      Thanks

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!
