I believe they have some sort of rev limiter on them.... you might want to read on this other thread,  if all else fails, contact Strike250 member, he knows a lot about these machines.

Getting harder now that Matt is gone. Guy just needed more support or more sales.  I will try to help though. 

Things you can try to find. 

- New Tranny or tranny parts (good luck, I think they were just found but I bet there are only a few put in. Maybe you could find a pre 2015 tranny to install. 

- New Sproket could get you 2-3 mph

- Somehow  if you can find a way to purchase a pre-flashed ECU but I dont even know if that is possible.  Or find someone that can flash your ECU, would get you up toward 9k RPM. 

- ECU flash got me to 30 mph.  Tranny can get these up  next to 50 mph from what I understand. 

 

I am no expert and wanted to try to help. Many of us on this forum were helped by those before us. I certainly hope this crown find some traction. They are very cool little machines that run well.

      Hi, I purchased a used Cub Cadet 750 Challenger that seemed like the belt was slipping so I put a new belt in.  It still acts like the belt is slipping but now I am thinking it is the clutch? 
      What is the best way to remedy this problem? 
      Can the clutch be rebuilt?
      Are there aftermarket clutches available?

      Utv wont start and broken fuel injection wire

      I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

      Hello all. I have a 2005 Joyner sand spider 650 with the dreaded broken output shaft on the transmission. I got ahold of a 2007 joyner commando 650 for cheap that had a bad motor but a good transmission. I got it because everything i read said that the transmission would work but it seems that it will not. Due to the commando being 4x4 it has a selectable locker and a small ring gear using a "idler" gear to turn the ring gear which make the output spin the wrong direction. Is there any way that I can make this thing work? I really dont want a commando,  I like the buggy but if the trans wont work then I can only put my motor in the commando. Any help would be appreciated. I have the ring gear from the original trans but the shaft is broken and the shaft from the commando wont fit the ring gear it doesn't appear.

      2018 Massimo MSU 500. Cuts out at 18 MPH.

      My 2018 Massimo MSU 500 was operating just fine.  I parked it for 2 weeks in my shop now the unit starts and runs great but at 18 MPH it cuts out. It's not the seatbelt safety switch that engages at 10 MPH if it is unbuckled. I purchased a new ECU but that did not resolve the problem. No error code is presented. I reset the ECU replaced the fuel injector, coil, sparkplug and spark plug wire. Same response. I don't mind replacing faulty components but don't want to chase parts and hope for the best. Any ideas??

      I parked my 2018 Massimo MSU500 in a clean shop for two weeks. When I brought it out for routine ranch work it started cutting out at 18MPH. It's not the seatbelt safety switch, if the belt is not buckled that engages at 10 MPH. I replaced the ECU, fuel injector, coil, plug wire and spark plug. No error code is presented. I put the original ECU back in and reset it then adjusted the idle to 1800 rpm. I don't mind replacing faulty components but don't want to blindly parts chase hoping for the best. Does anyone have experience with a similar situation??
