Hi All,

New here, but bought a 2022 Sector 750 brand new last march (old stock up here in Canada)

It's a good bike so far, but I have noticed a quirk and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

The issue I've had is if I leave the utv parked on any incline, not even a major incline, and leave it to sit for a while (day or two) it will not start properly. It will turn over and not fire until I press the gas pedal, when it will run and rev up, but if I let off the gas it will die. It will keep doing this until I either start it in gear and drive it for a bit or leave it in neutral and roll it down the hill to flatter ground. where it will have to sit for a while.

If I park it on a decline there is no issue. fuel is not low, it's occurred a couple times now.

Any thoughts on the cause of this? Dealership just says bring it in and let them take a look, at my expense of course.

I would check for fuel contamination, water or too much ethanol in bottom of tank. I have a Hisun tech coming Monday to check my 2022 sector for that condition, mine loses power going up my long-inclined driveway.

Well, it was interesting to watch the road tech replace EVERYTHING;  the fuel pump and sender assembly, new fuel lines, fuel filter, Injector, HEGO, TPS, and IAC. One thing he was talking about the most is water/ethanol contamination, which would settle out to the bottom of the fuel tank when parked for a day or more. Once driven it would mix in the tank and the severity of the problem would go away. He looked in my tank and really didn't see this in mine, although there seemed to be like water marks in the very bottom of the tank. He wiped it out and then filled it with premium fuel that has no ethanol. My running concern has gone away, and the unit runs really very nice now. Of course, having that many parts replaced is like a shotgun blast, hard to miss. I did end up with another electrical problem just before this last repair. it was supposed to have been fixed and was not! It is intermittent short in the main loom, (the engine loom was already replaced for another issue.) When driven on the road about 1 mile the fuse for the signal lights blows. Have no brake lights or turn signals and causes feedback in the instrument display. Hisun picked it up yesterday to take it back to Texas to replace the main loom that was supposed to have been replaced 3 months ago.

So, I guess the bottom line is check for fuel contamination. Do not use fuel that has ethanol added! The fuel pump retaining ring on the tank is really tight, watched the tech bust a sweat trying to get it off then back on, he was a very BIG dude and was using a very special tool.

You might try to get a gas sample after letting it for a couple of days in the position that gives you the worst starting problem, check for obvious contamination and then google how to check for ethanol in gas. If you find any fuel issues, make sure you replace the fuel filter.

Hope my ramblings help you.

Just came across this thread ...

I have a 2020 Hisun Sector 750 (bought new in Jan. 2021). I must be one of the lucky Hisun owners given I've had only a few minor problems. I haven't experienced any starting issues and my UTV sits idle from mid-Oct. to mid-Apr. with a full tank of gas, and not hooked up to a battery maintainer. However, I only use premium fuel and always add fuel stabilizer to every tankful.

I do this also for all my small engines - chainsaws, lawnmower, lawn tractor, log splitter, etc based on the advice of an oldtimer years ago. Haven't had a fuel-related issue in years.

Hi, I purchased a used Cub Cadet 750 Challenger that seemed like the belt was slipping so I put a new belt in.  It still acts like the belt is slipping but now I am thinking it is the clutch?
What is the best way to remedy this problem?
      Can the clutch be rebuilt?
      Are there aftermarket clutches available?

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.

All mid 2008 through 2014 Polaris RZR 800 series have a big problem with the rear differential pinion nut backing off, allowing the pinion gear to shoot into the rear differential, destroying the rear differential. This has happened with machines with as little as less than 100 miles on them! Reports indicate that there are no problems, nor warnings, until the rear differential grenades, locking the rear axles solid! This requires the machine to be lifted onto a trailer, to be transported for rear differential replacement, as it destroys the case. After failure, rear differential replacement can be quite expensive: labor alone can run from $800-$1200 and a new OEM Spicer rear diff, if you can find one, can run from $1700-$2500! So, if you own any Polaris RZR 800 series between the years of 2008-2014, I recommend that you do this repair before further use of your machine. personally, I have grounded my machine until it can be done. Please check the online post for your own awareness.

I am about 6 months in to owning my 520. It is used mainly to run back and forth to our barn and shop. Occasionally, I run it up and down a few fairly steep hills on the property. One day, as I was going up one of the hills, the motor started sputtering and a tremendous amount of smoke was coming out of the exhaust. I was near the top and it made it (sputtering) up. Once back on the flat, I made it home. I loaded it on the trailer and took it back to the dealer. They said they checked everything out and found no issues. Over the next month or so, I only had occasion to go up hills once or twice with no issue. Then one day, again as I was going up a hill, the engine sputtered, giant plume of white smoke and then the engine died. 30 seconds later, started up and made it to the top. Repeated the route (down and up) and the same thing happened again. Called the dealer and their head of service said he would come out and wanted to see it first hand. He came out a few days later and repeated the route several time and it never happened with him in it. I had videoed the whole thing on one of the times it happened to me, but since it happens intermittently, could not produce it when he was here. I told him that I had checked the temperature, the oil level and the antifreeze level after each occurrence and they were normal. I asked him to call Kubota and ask what the possibilities were and that I am not fond of it dying on the hill and blowing the smoke and I didn't want to wait until something catastrophic happened to figure it out. When I followed up, they had no answers (which doesn't exactly please me). Any ideas? The attached photo was the start of the smoking. Didn't know how to upload the video of the whole thing, but it fogged the whole area.

I bought this SxS brand new.  A couple of years after I bought it, I became disabled.  Thus it has only 47 miles and around 16 hours of use.  I have no need to keep the SxS.  I am in Foley, Alabama.  It is very hard for me to get in out of the Challenger.  I would like to sell the set, 2019 Challenger 400, trailer and uninstalled winch (this was bought brand new as well, someone was supposed to help this newbie install and we never got around to doing this). I want  $6500 for the whole set OBO (Serious offers only).
