I am needing help on my UTV. I replaced the piston up with a kit that I bought for the it. I had trouble with the timing since it is so hard to see the flywheel. I have the service manual and have watch many videos on timing these things and I feel about 50% sure it is timed right. I have taken it apart several times to triple check to make sure the cam is set right and the mark is in the window. But it runs like trash and back fires. What am I missing? I am about at my wits end fighting this thing. I have attached a video from google drive so you can hear and see what is doing. Thanks for the help!

I did a still frame of the little blue flash around 35/38 sec.......that is a problem......to get this, you have 2 problems going on.

1.  Intake valve leaking or open-----bent (timing wrong and dinged the piston) or no valve clearance.  Leak down test and listen for air whistle.

2.  Intake leak in the casting area after the carb intake air boot.  The lean air mixture "spit" will also cause the faster idle speed.

Recheck the ign timing with the copper wire "feeler depth gauge"  TDC piston location.  Check that the cam lobes are pointed down-----valves closed and not on overlap and then paint dot the cam index point at 12 o'clock......the dimple is under the metal tab covering the flyweights.  I posted a detailed instructions in an earlier post about the paint the cam trick.

Recheck the valve clearance.  Ensure you are not on the decompression pin for the exhaust valve adjustment.......rotate the flyweights to retract the decompression pin.

The BLUE FLASH.  Visual.  By the size of the blue flash it has to be easy to spot.

      I replaced the stator on our Bennche 500 because it was not charging. It ran as long as you kept the battery charged. I replaced the stator now it’s not firing. The only problem I found was a wire in the new stator for the crank position sensor was in the wrong place in the plug. I switched it around but still no fire. Putting a meter on those wires and cranking the motor showed no voltage from the crank position sensor. Something I did or a bad “new “ part? Thanks for any ideas.

      I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.

      I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

      Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.
