Hello from Tucson Arizona.  I'm brand new to this hobby and still in the research and decision phase.  I'm kind of down to two side-by-sides and am hoping to learn some more here.  I'm looking at either a Maverick X3 or a Teryx 1000. 

Most of our trips would be on forest service roads and some of the back-country off shoots here.  I really like the performance (speed) the X3's apparently have, as well as having more than enough power to get through rougher stuff.  Not to mention that they have the best look of anything out there.  But I also really like the extra room behind the seats in the Teryx.  It's one of the prime reasons I'm interested in the Teryx as it would allow me to bring our dog with us occasionally.  It sounds like the Terryx has enough power for what we want to do but I'm not sure.  

 

So, a couple questions.  One, are there any other Side-by-Sides that have the extra room behind the seats like the Teryx without going to a 4-seater?  Two, anyone here own a Teryx 1000 that can share the good and the bad about them?   Lastly, is the X3 overkill for what we want to do?  It seems to be the top of the line but is also pretty spendy.

      I have an X3 Max and I currently run the Can-Am rearview mirror alongside a Swamp Donkey stereo system mounted to the roof. Is anyone here familiar with this exact setup? 
      I’m looking to upgrade to a proper can-am Maverick x3 max front windshield made of glass so I can run a manual wiper. Does everything clear the stereo and mirror mounts just fine, or are there clearance issues? Also, which glass windshields out there are actually worth spending the money on?
      I currently have the Can-Am hard-coated poly windshield, but I am really tired of not having a wiper and having to constantly stop and squeegee after hitting a few mud puddles or dealing with this Michigan snow, mud, and water holes!
      Any advice would be huge.

      Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.

      Haven't posted in a while since solving the excessive cabin noise issue, so I thought I would share a few upgrades to my Sector... Realize that this is driven daily on the street, so some of the mods are to make it more streetworthy.

      Locking gas door.

      Rear view mirror.

      Modified windshield for better airflow in cabin.

      Lowered and modified headrest bar for improved rear view.  Tailgate protector.

      Folding armrests.

      Overhead utility rack.  Keeps the interior cooler and dryer, too!

      Folding rear seats.

      Dust cover and seat protector.
      If anyone wants links to the rear view mirror, seats, or arrests, let me know and I will post.  But know that everything requires some level of fabrication.  The utility rack was all custom built.  Cheers!

      I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC
