2012 Kawa. 4010 won't idle when shifted into gear.

Is there a sensor on the machine that governs the idle.  If so, I think its bad.  I just changed the fuel filter and now it runs better and will idle some but often dies when shifted into drive.  If I raise the idle too much it grinds when shifted into drive.  I would love to change the sensor if bad but have no idea which one it is.

I think you're looking at clogged idle circuit in the carburetor.

Pull the choke about 1/4, 1/2, and then full and see if you can get it to idle.

Mine is fuel injected and I didn't know it had a choke?

There are several variations to the 4010 model, so post the model number of the 4010, it'll be like KAF_____-__ or similar.

It should be one of the numbers listed below.
