i have a 2011 hisun ys 400  idles high,once in awhile, runs horrible under load. iv'e put several differant carbs on it , cleaned the gas tank , took off the vaccum fuel pump and put  an 

electric fuel pump.  no change HELP 

this is a carburated engine, but was wondering is there any electrical components that meter the fuel flow,  like  mass air flow senser or something like that could be causing the fuel delivery

problem.

ps i have owned this rig since it was new , and haven't had a full  year of flawless riding.

 

oh and bought it from menards and told me i was stuck with it.

I have the same one (Menards' Yardsport 400). Mine has been running great for years. Put it up in the shed for the winter. Spring comes and it won't start. I figured it was probably stale gas (sat for 6 months) although I had been doing this every year previously with no problem. So, just in case, Drained the gas & refilled with fresh; pulled the plug > good compression; good spark. Cranks fine. Pulled the air filter element > clean. Sprayed starter fluid into the filter housing > still not a pop.
Fuel filter looks dry. Does it get "filled" after starting or ?  I'm gonna set up a fuel container on the roll bar so it provides gravity fuel pressure and try that. Anyone have other suggestions?

OK, I put a PLASTIC container up on the roll bar with duct tape and filled it with gas. Put a nozzle from my aquarium supplies in the bottom. Ran a hose directly to the carb, bypassing the fuel pump and fuel filter. With gravity as the "pump" I tried to start it and it caught and ran after 2 cranks! I visually verified that the fuel pump was pumping (spurting gas out) and caught the gas in a container. I let it warm up a bit, shut it off, and put everything back as it should be. It then started right up (and has several times over a week, since)! So it's back to normal and I have no idea why it wouldn't start.

I'm gonna say that a "stuck float" is the best possible answer. The pressure from the gravity feed was likely enough to push open the float valve.

      I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

      "Mrs. Smith" doesn't like how loud our Sector 750 is.  On a HISUN forum someone said the same thing about his 750.  I haven't given it much thought because I've been more focused on stuff that has broken.
      So, I used my decibel meter to check ours out.  4000 RPM, Low gear, under 20 MPH . . . . 97 decibels.  That's above most ordinances, even state boat noise limits.
      AI Overview Ninety-seven (97) decibels is considered very loud and dangerous to hearing with prolonged exposure, roughly equivalent to a newspaper press, a loud nightclub, or a snowmobile. At this level, damage can occur after just 30 minutes, necessitating hearing protection

      Coleman 400 wiring help

      2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
      Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
      Green with purple stripe - hazards?
      Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
      There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
      Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.

      MSU 500 Fuel Pump Ground

      Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it. 
      Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming. 
      Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light. 
      Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?

      2021 Hisun 500 Axis. Reading Codes??

      Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???
